When people say, "How could God die?", the question really is, "Who else, but God, could die to take away the sins of the world?"
The simplicity that is in Christ is, we have One God & Savior. That means we have one Creator, beside whom there is no other, so our sins were taken away, once for all, by that one Creator & Savior of all.

Amen. God being spirit could not shed blood, so he went and got in the house of David, the tribe of Judah, and took on a flesh body so that he could accomplish this, for us to provide the sacrifice that only he could provide because only he is perfect and sinless. This is astonishing to me.

Yes and amen, truly astonishing for, I believe the reality of Who that person is, who actually came to give HIMSELF for us, is going to be THE Truth, we will be learning to grasp more of, for the rest of our lives, then into eternity.
