The "The Power of Books" advancement is totally supposed to be a comparator tutorial, but instead it taught PiroPito the power of enchanting tables. Incredible!
it's so satisfying seeing him learn all these obscure game mechanics
Very very satisfying, i was really rooting for him throughout the episode.
Piro discovering bookshelves affect enchantment tables is a massive relief, only took 6 years. I think he still doesn’t get redstone power level which is what stops him from understanding one aspect of comparators.
I was screaming when he started experimenting with the enchantment table but kept breaking the bookshelves before they could emit stuff.
this was probably the absolute last chance he had at figuring out the enchantment table. I'm glad he finally got it.
It's fascinating how close he is with the chiseled bookshelves, lectens, and calibrated sculk sensors... Like yes! They are kind of related!! Unfortunately comparators are such a nightmare to understand the exact workings of, even moreso when playing blind :')
Seeing Nana place the bookshelves in the same checkerboard pattern as on the top of the chiseled bookshelf gave me huge flashbacks to his journey trying to understand nether portals. Great memories!
This is monumental progress. Honestly I really thought he'd never figure out the secret of the enchanting table, but again he squashes all doubt.
It's funny how typical the discovery is. When you're looking for one thing you come across something completely different.
@@Roescoecame looking for gold, but found diamonds
he's right, chiseled bookshelves should also power enchanting tables....
...as long as there are books inside them.
@@Testeuros ...and imagine if chiseled bookshelves packed with high-enchanted books could make the enchanting table go pass level 30.
@@melwin2251 this!
@@melwin2251-- Bei g able to change what enchantments you get at the table based on what enchantments are in the shelves would be really nice. Even if it got expensive, it would make villagers less necessary.
He finally learned that bookshelves affect the enchanting table. And it only took 6 years.
If he didn't stumble upon this in this episode i wonder if it would have taken him another 6 years. I'm glad he experiments to the extent he does, i just wish he would do the same with the comparator and other redstoney blocks aha.
Да, охуеть
We made it bros 😭, been watching since the #1 and we're all so sure that no way he's going to figure out the bookshelf and the enchantment table placement but here we are. I can die in peace now
So glad he finally learned about the bookshelves affecting the table 😃
I never expected to be on the edge of my seat watching a japanese man placing bookshelves and then destroying them with an axe in minecraft.
We all thought that "Power of Books" advancement is pointless. But maybe, just maybe... it was designed specially for PiroPito to discover how comparators and bookshelves work?
Love the episode regardless
me when I emit letters(characters,symbols,words)
17:00 this has to be the funniest clip on the channel
How delayed his "....Eh.!?" Is just makes it perfect
Next episode he will blow up his house with book-powered pistons.
Ok but seriously, wtf kind of weird-ass bug was that though? 🤣 I've never seen that happen before.
the little jump forward had me laughing so hard
I have now binged this whole playlist, what a ride.
I so wish that nana could somehow find out about stuff like chunk loading using nether portals, and ender pearl stasis chambers. He could use them to get back and forth between x:0 and the end of his bridge. If he had a long enough timer before the stasis chamber activates he might even be able to get an Elytra again. Unfortunately I don't think there is any way he would figure them out without any information.
Maybe when he gets to x:1000000 he will start looking at the comments and we can tell him about things like that.
To maximize your viewing experience, start the 2001 A Space Odyssey opening theme in another tab at around the 25:00 mark and again at the 30:40 mark.

This is a good discovery
this was so nostalgic years ago, your gameplay is so unique than other youtuber it's like playing different game
Seeing the journey to this moment is so worth it. I was wondering if discovering this mechanic without help was even possible. I do have to say, the whole time I was screaming, try a different number of books in the chiseled bookshelf.
this is still the best minecraft series on youtube. its such a unique playthrough you dont see anywhere else
Fr
piropito enchatned over 150 books today
25:07 moment of truth! and an excellent lesson in game design. subtle visual effects that seasoned players won't notice are critical clues to those still learning the game. so gratifying to see him figure it out. can't wait to see how powerful piropito is with an efficiency IV diamond pick!
He already has villagers though
He finally discovered how the bookshelves power enchanting table!!!! I’m so proud 😭
He did it, the absolute mad lad
Now I'm caught up www
I have been waiting my whole life for this upload
i've been waiting so patiently for 133 episodes for this moment
it's funny seeing piropito try to figure out redstone because i worked so much with it, things that are exciting for me, are probably not so much exciting for him, because the machines he wanted to make he did with his own methods already and doesn't necessarily have much use for the chiseled shelf or a lectern
but maybe if he figured it out he might have fun making a crazy redstone contraption like a combination door or something
its been a year since your last video. welcome back
A new update comes out TODAY that adds a few neat things! I’d love to talk about it but I have watched this entire series and know the rules 😢
I mean you could talk, he doesn't read the comments anyway lol
The only channel where I can get both nightmares and chill watching a guy play minecraft
いつも楽しみにしています!
今でもマイクラの動画を続けて、本当にありがとう!!!
after all these years, still the best minecraft let's play, and an excellent course in game design to boot!
ああーーー楽しい!!お帰りなさい~
cmonbruh
I actually love how despite the skin crawling content hes produced hes actually so wholesome :3
sucks that he was problably days off playing 1.2, neat he experience the amardillo paw drop tho
He's really trying so hard on the bookshelf without thinking that Comparator existed for a long time and what could it be doing.
I am DYING for him to figure out the comparator, he keeps slowly getting closer to it over years of testing.
❤この素晴らしい伝説的なチャンネルが大好きです
The Legend Has Finally Back
So excited to see a new Minecraft episode from Piropito!! Just in time for a new update: Java 1.21 comes out in just a few days... But it's true, i forgot there was 1.20.5 with Armadillo things!
As always it's so fun to watch you discover & learn things about this game :D
Ah… I’m up to date…. It was good to see PiroPito understanding how enchanting works!
But now I don’t have anything to watch, lol
17:06 一旦思考停止してるのが可愛すぎてリピートしてしまう
even though that nana arent gonna read this, i want to say that he is my motivation for my Japanese learning journey, every time i learn a little bit ill alway come back to his channel to see if i can translate anything.
wow! I just started watching this series a few days ago and Piro releases a new episode today?! I thought the series was long since over!
19:24 slime sounds getting closer...
19:35 complete silence, with a slime ball on the ground to the right.
Nice to see you're still playing Minecraft, PiroPito
I found you, from the "my house walkthrough". Now I see you playing minecraft amazing your still uploading.
I think this episode was peak confusion for piropito :D
youre a legend man
HOW DID I JUST FINDS OUT HE UPLOADED ANOTHER ONE A MONTH AHO
OMG! You uploaded! I have been looking forward to this! :D
Why did I not know that he uploaded a new video
That's it i'm activating the bell for his channel 😅😅
WELCOME BACK !! :DDD
🗣 piropito is back
Watching him to figure things out is always cool
お帰りなさい、ななさん
You should play other games blind! Terraria is 2D minecraft and I think would be a great game similar to minecraft. Thats just what I think though.
I would love to watch PiroPito play Stardew Valley
Terraria would be so good. I'd pay to see that
Undertale would be very interesting too... (But he's busy working on his own game, and he doesn't have time to play other games, so...)
私はこのシリーズが大好きです。ピロピトは毎回何か新しいことを学んでいます。はい、わかりました。なぜ日本語でこれを書かないのですか。とにかく、次のエピソードはいつですか。
Ive been playing minecraft 10 years and still i cant grasp comperators in practice. Only in theory do they make sense.
Sasuga piropito
This could have been mostly avoided if Mojang replaced the original bookshelf with the chiseled bookshelf. That way there would be less confusion. To power enchanting tables they could just make it so that you'd need to fill all the shelves with a new magic book that can be found as loot.
Everytime Mojang updates the game he will upload i can see a pattern now
Wow PiroPito Play Minecraft Since 2017-Now
Now 7th Anniversary PiroPito Play Minecraft
Watching Piropito's videos really does show just how unintuitive some of the mechanics in minecraft are if you go in completely blind. I don't think there should be a tutorial or anything, but there should be more elements added into the world to help players figure stuff out. The way ruined nether portals and the chests beside them containing flint and steel give an idea of how to get to the nether etc
This!!! especially with Redstone concepts like what the fuck does a calibrated sculk sensor do Mojang 😭😭😭
One more thing people said he'd never figure out crossed off.
Im caught up!! 0w0
WAKE UP, PIROPITO IS PLAYING MINECRAFT AGAIN!!!
He just needs to try comparing an empty chiseled bookshelf and he’ll understand. I love seeing hypothesis formation in action
Old:username 666
Now:Minecraft
HE FINALY UPLOADED YAYAYAYAYAYYAYA
this is the guy that made the username 666 video
Легенда, го еще один обзор на username666 в 2024 году
There was a recent update to minecraft just so you are aware :), also i really enjoy your art
He doesn't check the comments in case he gets spoiled of the game's mechanics
i love you sm Piropito
My day has been blessed
Ok but can we take a moment to lament Mojang's dumbass decisions surrounding obscure game mechanics being overly hidden and completely not discoverable by blind players?? It takes a *REALLY* special individual like Mr. 'Pito here going waayyy too far overboard trying random things (bless his soul) and accidentally stumbling into enchanting table mechanics. I mean Jesus, how long have enchanting tables existed in the game now, and they couldn't be bothered to make ONE measly achievement for powering one up with bookshelves??? Hell, they already have one just for enchanting anything, why couldn't they take it one tiny step further?! They even have some for doing completely random things like curing a zombie villager. They'll go so far as to *literally spoil their own game* with the parrot-ghast-ender dragon spyglass achievements, revealing the ender dragon one *before the end has even been visited.* They take the time to add random useless garbage like being in a boat with a goat just for a lame-ass joke, BUT THEY CAN'T BE BOTHERED TO TEACH US ENCHANTING-BOOKSHELF MECHANICS???? I MEAN THAT'S *KIND* OF IMPORTANT, wouldn't you say???
Holy actual shit, Mojang, smh. 😑 You should be embarrassed as a company. Do better, ffs.
Love this series! Thank you!
Pov: you came here because of username 666
When the world needed him the most, he returned

Used to make nightmare fuel but now he just plays games
He's still making nightmare fuel, it's just in the form of a game now instead :D
legendary comeback
Your a legend and will not be forgettend...
I am not a bot
17:08 I haven't seen anything like this before!
Yesss a new episode!
When you compare it to his first videos this is really nice and long
Finally a new episode
Yeah :)
This was a frustrating watch lol
yeah i have no idea how you're meant to figure out any of these redstone blocks without external documentation or what a normal player would even use them for, even a player like piropito with thousands of hours logged.
it's weird to me that mojang is happy for the game to be so complex in this aspect yet continue to be afraid to deepen the game's bossing, combat systems and general progression in any meaningful ways for fear of ruining the 'feel' of the game.
If he just put one book in at a time he might figure it out
i poged
im ur new fun, like ur voice🥰
Also, you should try playing TerraFirmaCraft in this style!
Heh redstone is very non-intuitive in its functionality. Fun to see nana try at it.
NO WA I MISSED AN UPLOAD
I came from 666 video
