Your daughter must think it’s so cool that your famous! My 9 year old daughter wants me to be famous. I try to explain to her that anonymity is key to survival, but she ain’t having it. In any event, it’s winter and my car is filthy. Your video arrived at the perfect time! Keep up the great work!
Thank you. I’m not famous in any way.
New shop with drains. I guess we dont need Nick now 😂. Just kidding 😜. And for those who don't know, do not sleep on water spot remover. It is the key to a super clean and clear vehicle paint
Awesome video, you got me dancing 🕺 and watching your video with your cool background music 😂
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
Man these videos never get old! Keep them coming. Love the helpful redundancy!
Thank you, I appreciate you watching!
Yvan, nice dance moves at the 9:22 mark! Almost matches to the music, lol.
Now that was a dirty vehicle. Hopefully people noticed Yvan spraying out the door sill, rocker panel area. Along with the bottom lower inside door area. When a vehicle is that full of salt i wlll flush the undercarriage as well as possible before the contact wash. Another good video Yvan, thank you.
Thanks! I’m glad you noticed those areas.
23:33 the power of lactic acid!
Hi Yvan, This wash is not a joke, how much time in reality it takes and how much we should be charging for it? Thanks again for all your work!
De retour chez nous pour celle-là! Des conditions qui me rejoignent pas mal plus!
Merci
It would be nice to work indoors but not here in oregon now
Thanks for the video, always great to learn more info
Thank you.
Nice car! Looks great 👍 great tutorial thank you
Thanks for watching!
A really great video thanks Yvan et Diy Detail Team. I've just one question: Is it necessary to spray rinseless wash after the first rinse? Thanks for all
Great video. Love the music. Can we have more chips and salsa?
Absolutely!!
Aloha from the beautiful island of Manhattan🙏🫡
Aloha

That wash feels close to home!
Very
Water spot remover is completely sold out in both Canada and USA. When will you have them in stock?
Next week
Any tips on cleaning your towels, brushes, drying blankets? Machine wash, hand wash?
Machine wash primarily
I see you got the EZ barrel brush. Isn't it excellent? Far less splash back from bristles.
It’s what the shop we borrowed use, our Tampico brush is much better.
please send me a link to that bucket grit guard i cant find one that wraps around like that
How essential is the water spot remover? I was planning on getting the DIY Detail Iron Remover because it is one of a few that has clay lube properties in it. I know it works mostly for iron fallout but I assumed the clay towel, in general, picked up the rest of the contamination.
DIY Detail Water Spot Remover removes mineral contaminants that are not removed with the Perforated Synthetic Decontamination Towel
Are quick beads safe for matte wheels? Will they add a shine?
Yes, very safe
When decontaminating, did you continue to use the same rinseless water that you used to wash the car?
Yes
I noticed that there were hydrophobic properties after rinsing off the waterspot remover. What is in the waterspot remover that is causing that? And how would you know if you've truly unclogged a coating or just seeing what the waterspot remover is leaving behind?
Pretty sure its just the natural hydrophobics of the paint without the minerals after decontamination. Helps having the brand new paint. 😁
@@MetalRoofGuyNot sure about natural hydrophobic. Most times you don't need to use a waterspot remover and the paint is flat if there is no protection
Being a new car we were removing the contaminants deposited by the road salt.
Great!
Thank you.
Dod you re-spray rinseless before the contact wash?
Yes
Toujours bienvenus chez vous à Granby!
Merci
I take my car to the brushless carwash, daily, for weeks after the snow has melted.
Good
@diydetail does the clay towel scratch if the towel is cold ?
It raises the risk.
Is water spot remover discontinued?
No, it will be back in stock next week
Why rinse after water spot remover? I’ve never used it… but I thought rinsing may cause more water spots. I gotta research the product and learn
It’s acidic, it needs to be removed. Water spots come from allowing the water to cure on the surface
@ thank you!
Can I use my IK multi pro 12+ with rinseless to spread quick beads? we have no hose in our apartment
No, more flow is needed.
@@diydetailofficial thank you
Interior detailing coming soon?
Yes
Does using a synthetic clay towel not cause marring. My biggest fear is clay baring my car as i dont have a machine polisher.
Unlike a clay bar the Perforated Synthetic Decontamination Towel doesn’t contain abrasives.
seems about the same amount of steps and time as Foam, Rinse, Foam, Wash and Rinse. Pros and Cons?
Yes, just showing different methods, it’s personal preference
What dirt, hardly a stain in sight! 😜
They always look better on video, the camera adds 10 lbs to me and removes dirt from the paint.
@@diydetailofficial Just joking, I have never washed a car so dirty, and not sure I would have been brave enough to just use Rindless.... great video as always Yvan
What if your my truck looks like that but you cant use your pressure washer because its 15 degrees out past month and you dont feel like flooding your basement due to cracked pipes and putting a claim in home owners insurance. And if you can use it anyway its still cold enough with wind chill that when you wash or rinse the water and suds are getting frozen onto the surface…ask me how i know. 40 degrees out i thought was fine. Come wash and dry…not so fine even with hot water hooked up or cold.
Contact a local detailer and pay them. If you aren’t equipped then find someone who is for the winter time
I go to a self serve car wash and do it there. Spray the car down with rinse less wash then pull into the bay and pressure wash. Then I’ll park and do a contact rinse less wash. Wear cotton gloves under thick rubber gloves to keep your hands warm and dry.
@ yeah wasnt sure if there was any tricks or work arounds for doing a proper was in well below freezing temps…even with hot water hooked up it freezes into sheets of ice on the panels
15 is plenty warm enough to wash the truck lol. 40 is a bit too warm.
Unfortunately mother nature wins the battle.
Crispy
And crunchy
Why is it not a good idea to flip the towel during water spot removal process?
We are spreading it, the towel will absorb it if you flip.
whos garage...nice looking

If drying a ceramic cratered car you would use a drying aid right?
Yes
What kind of polish method did you do for this car ?
If you're drying off the car, I don't understand the point of the water spot remover.
To remove embedded mineral contamination.
@@diydetailofficial At 16:20, that was the iron remover and perforated synthetic towel.
Sorry typed the wrong answer, it’s to remove mineral contamination
So, I'm not native English speaking and I need someone to explain this for me. When you say "rinsless cleaner" or "rinseless wash", I expect there to be no rinsing. But then there are rinsing, a lot of it. What's going on, what am I missing? 🤨
It's a misnomer. It's rinse less. If you check in diy details library of videos they have a number explaining more in depth how the rinse less products work.
Yvan Lacroix explains the science and technique of Rinseless Wash for 60 minutes straight! ua-cam.com/video/i1I6rrgPt4Y/v-deo.html
Yvan and Sylvie, ws a pleasure to see you. Jaime
Likewise!
Ready for another awesome educational video. 💯💪
Thank you!
I dont agree with this process surface is still to dirty to use a rinceless wash and on black ahh hell no
First and ready
Thank you.
Where’s nick ? 🤔

As soon as the music came on it ruined the tutorial…I’m out
