- Billionaire rapper Jay-Z is accused of raping a 13-year-old girl, along with Sean "Diddy" Combs. Take VO An "anonymous" accuser alleges the assault happened at an after-party following the MTV Video Music Awards in New York in 2000. Jay-Z responded with a lengthy statement on "X", calling the allegations "idiotic." Today he filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit. He also requested that the accuser identify herself publicly. Attorneys Oliver Brown and Bayoji Akingbola, and The Factor's digital producer Ajibola Bodunrin talk about this on The Isiah Factor: Uncensored.

The question I have is - why wasn't Jay Z part of the original suit? I won't have an opinion until the evidence comes out, but... Adding him to the suit at this stage makes it seem like they realized that Diddy wasn't going to net that much in the way of "ju$tice" so they tacked Jay Z on. These days a rumor is all it takes for someone to get canceled, so a lot of people would settle out of court whether they're guilty or not. Adding him months later, and only after the public discovered Diddy's empire was actually a teetering house of cards makes this case look like an attempt to pressure Jay into cashing out to keep his name out of the press... and it seems like he's called their bluff. I'm not saying that that's what is going on here, but adding him so late in the game is not lending any credibility to the claim. I pray that what was done in darkness comes to light, the truth is revealed, and the victim finds peace and victory.
