It’s amazing how dedicated animal mothers are. A lot of human mothers could take a page from their books.

These are the animal mothers that are documentary worthy though; how many examples did the camera crew observe before they captured a story they knew would be marketable? There are equally as many abandoned litters and infanticide cases as with humans, moreso because humans have the social infrastructure to support our "unwanted" and the "unfit" that wouldn't survive in the wild. Few animal societies adopt other's children willingly, few have a network to support families or untimely pregnancies and let mother nature claim any who aren't strong enough to survive.
Learn from the animal mothers if you chose to, but putting them all on a pedestal is ridiculous. If you change it to mothers/ fathers/ parents who do their job and put their kid's needs first, setting them up for success by protecting, nurturing, teaching and loving? That's a winning statement.
