Olivari last night passed the eye test. As a Lakers fan, we need any and all positive momentum for this year and the future.

I actually am convinced Olivari will eventually take one of the two-way spots. 3 level scorer that injects energy, rebounding and defensive pressure off the bench guard position. Outperforms Bronny and JHS in that role. Very good positional rebounder like Goodwin but Quincy can shoot. Although he has a very long way to go to establish himself in the NBA, his physical measurements and game are similarly modeled to that of a De'Anthony Melton. Very difficult to make it in the NBA and opportunities have to arise to even get a foot in but Quincy at least started a conversation for himself when he actually got a chance to play in the Summer League and now Pre-Season.

Olivari sparked the Lakers like I haven’t seen in years. Seeing our stars on the bench so electric and happy, supportive to our g league players. That’s some real chemistry I haven’t seen that since 2020. Trevor can you talk about how good the chemistry looks right now and how we never seen that with Ham. Let’s go Redick wow this team is looking amazing this preseason I am very exciting to see what he got to offer this year!!

He’s clearly not ready for prime time, doesn’t run the lanes, loses his man on d, stands at the top of the key and clogs things up, doesn’t have a full grasp of the pick n roll, and doesn’t dribble and penetrate the defense when he’s in the key. One night he hit the 10th 3 pointer for the team - Chick-fil-a gives away a free sandwich the next day when ten 3's are made in a game. Quincy went to the nearest Chick-fil-a that next evening and greeted the Xavier fans who came i for the free sandwich. He also was known to go to first grader's school to be the 'special person' for one of the students in class. He apologized for sending out signed T-shirts late. Quincy Olivara should take JHF or M. Lewis roster spot! Thought DK-4, Castleton-14 and Olivara-41 were good. More than likely, Castleton, Olivara, JHF, M.Lewis and Bronny will be playing in the G-league.

I'm not sold like you all are on one pre season game, I need to see more. People who play for the Lakers, legit lose their powers.

Hopefully Olivari can be the Next Great Free Agent Story similar to VanVleet, Carushow & AR!!!
He will get a chance Our last 3 Preseason Games. And, if He Balls 🏀 Out, He can get a 2-Way Spot bcuz We won’t need Castle & Koloko.
Side Note - Castle is a less athletic Version of Jay Huff and His Ceiling is a Bac(k)up Center on a Non-Playoff Team and a 3rd String Center on a Playoff Team.

Why not keep him? The Lakers gotta make this happen. Think about him and Vando on the floor together two high-energy guys. If the Lakers lack anything its the energy & a big man

Can Q sustain this play against the regular NBA players? This reminds me of Matt Ryan who couldn’t. Anyone can shine against G league defenses. He needs to be tested in the 1st & 2nd qtrs against tougher defenders. If he earns a starting spot, then trade DLo for a traditional center and point guard. Waive players who are just not clicking in this JJ offense to patch and round up the weaknesses. GSW will be a good test as they are a dynamic offense. If Q can play offense well while guarding the W’s, he should get a spot.
