I bought this gel after watching your review. I tried the original gel about a year ago and was not a fan so I didn’t have good expectations for this one. However, I will say I was actually pleasantly surprised. I have thin, fine, curly hair and I only applied 2 nickel sized amounts for my whole head and it left me with a cast that reminded me of what it would be like if i combined LA Looks gel and Rave Hairspray lmfaooo. Once I broke the cast my curls were super soft and the definition lasted for days. I actually like it more than my ouidad advanced climate control gel which says a lot. You said to apply a good leave in beforehand and that helped me a lot. Very impressed with this gel 💕
Definitely want to try this gel and the other Curl talk gel and the moose I like the curl talk curl Defining cream and was thinking of mixing it with one of the gels I want to see what gel works better for me
I didn’t get a hard hold that lasted when using this gel and I think it’s because I also used the mousse after. I’ll have to try it again on its own. Your hair looks great!!!! Love it 💜💜💜

Girlie, you're a real one for trying all these gels on nakey hair -- I'm sure you're giving it a good DC after these experiments, but, Lordt!, please don't be sacrificing your hair's health for these YT streets if it's getting to be a lot! This gel seems to be stronger than your Curlsmith In Shower Style Fixer review - how do you think they compare? Video suggestion: I'd love to see a video on tighter curls like the one Gena Marie did comparing all 4 Curlsmith stylers (I think she used the same leave-in on all 4). No strong hold for me. I like a flexible hold. Wow the cast is Real!!! Crunchy!! 💜💜. The outdoor shots were everything! This thumbnail is gorgeous too!!!
Girl I bought this gel and used it with a leave in and my hair was hard hard lol 😂, I had to wash it out, but I don’t want to give up on it, I’ll use again and try not to be so heavy handed, it reminds me of the Curlsmith style setter

I use their regular gel- and the hold is perfect. Was considering the Hard hold… but I’ll stick with the original:)
