After having a terrible experience with iHome plugs not retaining settings and needing to be reset everytime the power flickered I decided to try this one out.

Power went out, and now I'm having to reset everything. Not happy. This is the second time having to do this in the past year. Other than that, I like.
can these be used outdoor?
These are specifically for indoor, I’d be careful with them outdoors unless it’s covered like a porch
These are a pain in the butt to connect! I get the light blinking but as soon as the app starts to search for devices...the plug turns off 🤬

Same here. It refuses to connect, with no Wifi issues. I reset it, wait for the quick blink, start scanning devices and..nothing. Is anyone else having this issue and has a solution?
i bought the plug about a year ago, and spent tons of time try to make it work, with no luck, i gave up. now i want try one more time, still lots of pains, specially with the set up. the instruction sucks. i follow the instruction and installed "go smart", when i scan the QR on the box, it tell me that the QR is not recognized, WTF does this mean, how can I move forward? I bought a box with four plugs, none is working yet. don't buy!
That's my exact issue! It won't even pick up my Bluetooth signal.😡
I cannot add my device, I have tried on different sockets and it is not working, any ideas?

@@mufns there was something I needed to switch over. They weren’t the clearest about that feature I had to figure it out. It’s on the top right hand corner when you go to install it. Whatever it is on originally you have to switch. I cannot remember what the switches are called though.
