I will always remember my greatest comeback. Was getting my ass handed to me for 3 straight rounds, then in the 4th he knocked me down at least 3 times in a row, on the 3rd time he decided it was a good idea to throw a taunt in after and i got up and instantly threw a head kick and knocked him down then finished him with strikes. Such a satisfying moment

Khabib is really bad in this game bc of the the way the game is designed, his stat are not well done(his gnp does less damage than chandler for example) and the fact that you cant stay postured up make him really hard to emulate and almost forgot the fact that you cant really grind td against the cage
Is gnp ground n pound ? If so I think Michael chandler hits way harder especially on the ground

@@dzumba9897 tell me who chandler finish FROM the ground in the ufc ? No one. Power on the feet does not equal power on the ground its different technniques. Khabib is well known for destroying people wills on the ground with his gnp it shouldnt be lower than chandler

Takedowns irl are way harder to deny than some simple keeping your hands low. I don’t even bother grappling anymore even tho it’s really fun if the guy is inexperienced

I like how the community went from “wrestling is too op” “this game is too grappling heavy” to “wrestling sucks in this game.” All those nerfs made it impossible to take someone down if they know exactly what you’re doing. Ngl, I miss the guaranteed takedowns that were broken asf in the beginning of this game’s lifespan. They were cheesy, but it was fun asf.

youll have more success if you work the body while wrestling . Deny transitions, work the body to slow down stam recovery. then start sub attempt. triangle chokes best because the position can only be reversed if they have stam advantage. at worst youll be in their full guard at best youll be in side control. if they get up. they wont have the stam to be as aggressive and it opens up easy head kicks. ppl naturally go for takedowns at head kick distance. so head kicks will open up. body knees in side control do a lot of damage. sprawl is you best friend if your on top easy denies and body shots. just use a sub and get let you opp get 10 % through the his defense then cancel the sub. this rests the referee so he wont pick you up. in a 5 round fight by the end by the end of round 3 youll have a big stam advantage and your opp conditioned for the take down. Easy striking or you keep wearing him out like khabib does and go for the sub.
I haven't play online and I feel like I'll get destroyed on bottom because I don't know how to deny without the thing that tells you which side to deny. My career character is a wrestler and I play on hard. I just need to figure how the denied transition thing work

Yeah takedowns are terrible in this game and what makes it worse is having control time means nothing if I get stunned wobbled or rocked it’s they wipe your control time and ground and pound. Really seems like a strikers game paradise and that needs to change in ufc5 so we actually have stylistic fights not just pressure boxing meta or clinch spam meta
Ufc 3 had the best takedowns and against the cage but also denying takedowns was so much easier as week and let’s not get started on submissions

You can do overhand then single leg but other than that wrestling is trash in ufc 4, except for the clinch trips and throws

The wrestling in ufc 4 is so garbage compared to the last games . I loved to wrestle and do different takedowns but ufc 4 grappling is like what I expect from a mobile game

When you’re division 15+ on ranked games the fights become 5 rounds and your opponents health and stamina do not show
