I think they should have done a bigger overhaul to the stat system in ASA. Food and oxygen should just be fixed base stats that make sense for the type of creature.
If you are planning a greenhouse, make sure it is on an upper platform so the sun gives the greenhouse effect. Can't wait for the build Axe!!!! Great job on the pink para, it's cute! Hope you get a pink megalo dude, you do love your pinks!!!!
A little tip from ASE on cliff platform placement.. If you have a "cliff pillar" like the one you've put one of the platforms on, it is actually possible to place a cliff platform in a way that allows you to utilize the entire platform floor almost 100%.. You need to be VERY specific/detailed on where you snap it, but if you do it juuuuuust right, you can have the game recognize the tippetitop of the cliff as cliffside.. Just gotta edge the placement right.. On Rag I have a cliff platform base at roughly 50/50 where I have 100% floor utilization because I found a tiny stub that the game recognized as cliff.. ❤🎉

As I was gathering resources to build a base and move to the blue zone last night, I found a stone cliff platform in a blue drop near the fertile lake. That’s sooooo many resources I don’t have to gather anymore! Always a good idea to check those. Keep up the good work Axe.
You could start your breeding with them and then when you find high levels, keep taming them until you get a high melee. With ASA’s new breeding mechanics, you can pass the mutations to a higher base stat instead of having to start over.

The ark gods blessed me with a Mastercraft drawer saddle BP today! It is the best thing I've seen from an abb drop since launch. I haven't made it to the surface, I'm talking normal drops.
There's a mod that change the Pyromanes spawns for Megalosaurus ones, it could be a good idea to add it to the server since all the boys seem to agree that Pyromanes shouldn't be in this map. The mod name is called "No Pyromanes in Abberation" btw
Latest patch (claims) reduced pyro spawns by 75% on Aberration and dropped their weight bellow 150. So pay-to-win fire kittys are not as much win anymore. They can be bola'd and picked by carriers like Argy at that weight.
Syn runs server iirc...and you can literally just change the ini to disable a specific dino if they wanted even w/o a mod. (some people use to do this to disable eels/jellyfish)

Man imagine if Ark made a machine in a future update that lets you swap stats points around. Like you cant add any to the creature but you can for example swap a 46 Food on a Carcha for its 20 Melee. But you can only do this once.
Morales could be your new one, then when you get the stats you’re satisfied with, name it Spider-Man (or Peter). And once you have a mutated version, name it Venom.
Kind of bummed there isn't a skin for the platforms for steam punk. I absolutely love the steampunk mod from evolved and the platform for that is so awesome!
Raasclarke did that cave on a recent video and there is a drop in that cave behind a hidden rock wall. You just have to destroy that wall to get to a loot crate
water is always easy to check, if the arrow is blue it is connected to water, if it is red it is not just get that arrow on the water tanks to go not red easy peasy
How about Cubit for the new meglo? Straight from Wikipedia. It is an ancient unit of length based on the distance from the elbow to the tip of the middle finger.
They removing move speed from creatures and keeping oxygen and food was so dumb, they took one of the better stats and keeped the most useless ones. Every dino should just have a fixed amount of food and oxygen depending on the species.
Food state has its uses but oxygen... I can't think of a single creature I would consider lving oxygen in.... Movement speed was useful (and fun) but I get why they scraped it

Doing that would make the game way too easy. No wasted points makes it wayyyyy easier to get strong tames right away.
Also there are traits that take the food/oxygen/weight stats and give to melee
Box and Ramp traps don't seem to be working at all anymore, but traps with Gates are still working from what I've seen and tested out myself
