Maybe its that society is always resistant to change and tries to quash artistic expression? Maybe its that art is annoying and naive to reality? or maybe its that people dont like having paint thrown over their homes and businesses?
Honestly it means whatever you want it to. I just thought the idea was kinda funny and I like messing with tropes.
