Such fun! But is it just me? So fast that even at slowest speed on my computer, I had trouble keeping up. Don't stop!

Thank you! This is a speed video which can be helpful if you’ve already learned the patterns and just need a quick reminder how it works. But each pattern is also available in real-time here in my channel!

Terri Zink this is a paper blender (Estompen or Tortillion). It is pressed paper, it is perfect for blending graphite pencil. And it's pretty inexpensive 😉

This pencil itself is a Zentangle brand graphite, but any soft leaded pencil will do, (the Zentangle ones are only about 79 cents and are the perfect length... but,I just take regular length pencils and cut them down to fit my hand better)and smudging with your finger works just as well, as The smudging stump or
tortillion, you can make your own rolled up paper stump. Just roll up very tightly and glue along edge, a paper like newsprint or a paper that is not shiny or sealed... we make these all the time.
Store bought ones are not too expensive, but if you do not live near stores etc. a homemade one works fine, just roll it very tightly... when the point of either a store bought or hand made one gets to rounded or raggedy, just take something quite skinny and metal( like a small diameter knitting needle, nail etc,, and push into the top, fat round part, as you slowly work it down, to the point pushing gently, it will produce a lovely new pointed tip, to get into Small areas again.
