The build on this 389x for Mitchel Bottomley becomes more extensive then we imagined. This truck really portrays true class in all aspects. While we may not be completely done with this awesome truck we thought we might share it with you as we have got pretty close to finishing this one up!

The truck is beautiful. The most impressive modification, to me, is the hidden Def tank. Everytime I watch vids on Pete's, or any customized truck, there's that ugly ass Def tank hanging out there! You have restored my faith in customization with this one mod.😊

I know I’m a bit off but I actually prefer Aero-Cabs.
You can’t watch yourself driving and the visibility is much better with the drop-nose aero-cabs.
Chad Berry is beast mode in his sleep. It's almost accidental for his awesome to just happen. I feel like if you collaborate with he, Bill Rethwisch, (sp?),and Troy Massey, along with Rob from shTube, my bucket list would be complete.

More of a question here the 330 wheel base is as long as the factory builds which I think is perfect but wondering what's the largest factory sleeper Pete offers ? I really love the legendary red it is absolutely stunning.

So is this 389X show only? Since it has no ground clearance it would be tough for it to be a working truck
Yes, more or less. This is a very low number 389X so it will probably only go out on nice days.

When you see tuned trucks here in Europe, usually Scania, Volvo or DAF, they usually have a lot of additional headlights at the front. I never see that with those from the USA. I always ask myself why? Don't you drive in the dark? 😅

I LIKE THE TRUCK 🚚 BUT IT IS TOO LOW TO THE GROUND
I can tell you right now that it's very impractical due to being too low even if it's got air lift. I love long wheelbases but in that case lowness is against the function of that tractor. Where can you go without bottoming out just about everywhere you go especially with that bumper. However, there's a lot of things that I do like about the rig and different things I would have different too. The frame I would've had the frame painted the same color as the rest of the rig and I would prefer the one piece full fenders with the fancy dip in between the rear drives painted of course to match the rest of the rig. I do like the old school viser and bringing back the aluminum front fenders from the X series. Do away with the underlighting too ghettoish and very impractical too just too many things to go bad keep the plastic on the bed you'll regret removing it . Very pretty color too.
Don't really like it 2 low for my taste don't like the painted tanks or the rear fenders just saying some people might but not me

could never see the logic in an EXPENSIVE front bumper so low it scrapes the ground on anything other than level flat road.reminds me of the dumbasses who lower their cars so much they cant get out of their driveways without ripping off their bumper cover facia's.
just more junk to get knocked off or damaged when you hit something big on the road.

Hurricane express have several 389 and 389 x working trucks with a 333 stretched wheelbase !!!
I think it’s crazy long but they look good going down the road… you can’t miss them and they all have color matching reefers with 53’ stainless spread axle trailers.
It takes a special kind of driver to roll like that daily !!!

POLISHED FENDERS?
Gentlemen (yes, I mean you guys, Sir Tommy and Mr. Brian)😎, this truck is gorgeous, 330 WB and all. However, as much as we all love the color keyed, rear fenders by Shift, in this instance, from a design standpoint, and for the sake of symmetry, you definitively should have considered installing polished SS fenders to counterbalance the polished front fenders. By comparison, you would probably not paint the rear wheels, while leaving the front wheel polished. It would simply be asymmetrical. And, believe it or not, the eye tends to notice such subtleties, detecting equilibrium, or a lack thereof.
I am not sure that I have ever been a fan of the polished front fenders on the 389X (or on its predecessor, the Pride and Class); but, since they are an integral and iconic distinction for the X, we should really do everything we can to use design enhancements to complement this unique trait. To wax philosophical, each raw vehicle should be beheld as a partially painted canvas, that we may capitalize on its own color palette and unique design cues; i.e., toss out the cookie cutters. Of course, I realize that you are both masters at such visualization (seriously), but in this case...oh well🧐

Ps. Thank God this truck has working exhaust stacks...I truthfully believe that the faux bs kits installed on trucks with grass burners should be outlawed. I can barely make it through a video once I realize the pipes are fake. Extreme outlook or not, I would not drive such a "poser" to save my life. (The reason...old fashion AUTHENTICITY.)😉

around the 13:40 mark, when you showed those awesome watermelon lights on the mirror and those long screw ends showing, maybe cut those back and put on chrome acorn nuts or color matching ones... just a thought. it is a beautiful truck no doubt!!!
