What a great report, the extra effort in the editing really shows up, top content guys, definitely subscribed. Also as Rohan you want to be using Gamling's might for marches and moves first, as he's always guaranteed to be within the banner range, then you can continually call moves with him while keeping might on your other hero's.

Awesome production value. Just some things for tactics: when you can banner instead of mighting, you should always do so unless you have only one dice, you can always yet might the highest dice after bannering and on a 1 in 6 chance you just saved yourself a point of might. Also at the end you for some reason didn't use the shade's special ability I didn't understand the reasoning there. It's also a fun thing to learn how to use the dead marsh specters to set up nice combats for your heroes instead of just running stuff away, that could have been useful in the end, though of course the victory was already pretty certain. Btw did you check for the end conditions, I'm not sure if it's 25% or broken 1-2 for this scenario, but it feels like the game should have ended earlier, which would mean 5 vps for the objective and maybe Theoden not being killed?
The scenario ends on either both forces quartering or the prize making it off the board, if I remember correctly. Thanks for the tips! I probably could’ve used the DMS’s to run people into Buhrdur at some point, but it was more fun running people away 😂
Missplays are usually one of 3 things 😂 1. We’re just flat out playing wrong 2. We’re not playing optimally, just having fun 3. We play too fast so we miss a lot of rules or plays lol Thank you for the feedback!!

Thank you!! It’s definitely our plan to play just about anything! We are thinking of Star Wars: Shatterpoint next, Bolt Action, Kill Team, One page rules and so on and so on. Lots of games we could pull from! We just have the most experience with MESBG.

That was a really well put together battle report and I enjoyed watching it. The worst part about it was the way the Rohan player was so down about losing. You made such a good video you can at least pretend that you had fun playing toy soldiers.

Was thinking of getting back into a miniature war game. The only one I played in the past was Warmachine/Hordes. As much a fan of Middle Earth as I am, this is a no-brainer. Where do I find the books & miniatures for this game & what is the actual name of it? I live in a very all rural area of Louisiana & there aren't any stores that sell this.
Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game! Games workshop sells the game, same company that does Warhammer. I’d say this is probably their best ruleset though! Definitely my favorite game - boone
I play very throwing weapon heavy lists so I looked it up just now to make sure! Unless it got FAQ'd you can still throw after moving. That would've changed how I play completely lol
That’s a good question! Lol In this match specifically there was a lot of -1 to duel rolls, so rerolling might not have helped then. If that’s not the case, then I kinda play haphazardly and don’t think a lot. 😂 - Boone
@@TabletopCollective it was in one of the first rounds that Theoden and Dernhelm both needed a 5 to win, both rolled an 5 that became a 4 do the shadow and then used might to get the 5 again
@@grimgrauman7650Probably just not thinking. 😂 We tend to play pretty quickly and aggressively on video so we blow by a lot of rules or “optimal” plays!
The production value feels like its up there. I think the problem I have is that the dialogue is coming from the players and not an analysis write up, and a professional VO talent. I feel that you could do that, and it would then be much easier to get people to follow up with QA and tidbits, being read out by the speaker. Model it after golf or chess. Then when they've got that build up with the audience you can give em a closing message.
