I also discovered Sally Hepworth this year. I loved Darling Girls but unfortunately I didn’t care for The Soulmate. However I do want to try her other books.
Omg you really did pull an all nighter lol I have to agree with butcher and blackbird. I dnf-ed the second book. Just borrowed our crooked hearts on Libby 😁
I dnf butcher and blackbird. I also dnf the Zodiac academy. But I might try to read it again next year. I am reading Phantasma right now and loving it. I like seeing the books behind you.
we used to live here was kinda disappointing for me tbh. i read a lot of horror/thriller/etc kind of books and we used to live here came off as purposefully confusing. i generally understood it by the end, but during the book it was really just,,, annoying. its fine to leave certain stuff to be revealed or figured out by the reader but making the book read like an acid trip comes off as unskilled and unimaginative
Omg I love the hairstyle 😍
Omg thank youuu! 😭🥹

Love this - so much fun!! I need to try Sally Hepworth's books - they sound like something I would really enjoy.
The Soulmate & Darling Girls are my favorite so far!!
The background looks good!

Have you read Caraval? I was interested in the Phantasma summary but it sounded similar to Caraval which I didn’t love
@Itslaurensbookshelf I am only on chapter 4 of Phantasma. I liked Caraval!
Do they feel similar at all?
@Itslaurensbookshelf Actually you are right they are similar but I am going to keep reading.

I definitely felt the same way but I started looking up people’s theories and it made me want to re-read !
