- My husband Fred B Goob Robertson and I got a chance to travel to Europe with our very close friends, special couple David A Arnold & Julie Harkness Arnold who celebrated 10 years of marriage. As I was going thru the pics and videos I ran across this one with them singing had me crying. David and Julie we love you sooo much and wish you more anniversary to celebrate together. May God continue to bless this Union....

Wow!! This was so beautiful and so heartbreaking at the same time. I’ve been taking his passing so hard and have been obsessed with watching all his old videos 😢. Sadly, it feels like I’m grieving the passing of my dad for the first time...or should I say all over again. The way he loved and showed up for his wife and girls was so admirable and inspiring. But the thing that I cherished most about him was his successful 23 years of sobriety. My dad wasn’t as fortunate 💔.
Bless you, sending love and light to you as you grieve. Remember to be gentle with yourself. Grief is a process and there is no right or wrong way. I miss David and his comedy but I'm also grateful I was fortunate enough to have experienced him. ❤

@BRILLIANT DIVA one's accomplishments in life are great as I'm sure is the case for Julie but at the end of a person's life those accomplishments become a list on a page in an obituary. As corny as it may sound love & memories created are truly the only things that live on after we're gone so entertain this thought for a moment... what if she thought one of her greatest accomplishments was being married to a man that loved her & the life & family that they created together? Some people will live their entire lives wanting but never achieving that particular accomplishment for whatever reason. When I watched that video I saw two people genuinely enjoying each other singing karaoke together while celebrating their wedding anniversary & I thought what pain she must be going through because of his sudden passing but I never thought NOW is the time for her to grab the spotlight & rattle off all of her amazing accomplishments... although I'm sure there are many I think there are other things more important to her right now... like supporting her children while grieving the loss of the love of her life🕊... her words not mine.💔
