Can it hold the 11" iPad Pro 2022 with vertically clamping? I'm not merely asking about the vertical orientation of the iPad (which I'm sure is possible by rotating the iPad to the desired orientation). I want to know specifically, if the clamp can stretch vertically across this iPad model (which incidentally is 10" tall, if held vertically). This is important for me to know, as I'm not convinced about the safety of clamping the iPad from the sides and then positioning the iPad vertically. Also does this holder allow a back cover for the iPad, without having to take it off every time during usage. I believe my 2 specific queries if answered to the point would be most helpful for many potential customers who don't have these answers from the various product demos of this model. As yet. Thank you.
I have the 11" ipad pro. I clamp it diagonally. So, each of the Hercules' clamps are touching all sides of the ipad. It is very very sturdy. Hope it helps!
@@dkijc thanks a lot. I have another question though :) Since the clamped are very close to rank other, is there enough space to pass a cable and connector in between them for charging the iPad?
@@surojit13 yes! :) think of it this way. The square bracket is the border of the ipad and the end of each point in X is where the clamp hands are. [X] You get plenty of clearance in the middle to pass a cable through. Make sense? hahaha
I’m forever amazed that everyone makes these holders to only fit iPads not in a case. 90% of people keep their tablets in a stinking protective case!!! Make the dang tab gap wider!!!
You claim it fits up to 13" yet doesn't fit my 12.9" Ipad pro with clamps North / South. Only East / West. I am not too comfortable that it won't slip out on a gig considering it's a $1500 Ipad.

Is it possible to use this holder in car mounted to the headrest rod?
