Your insights on the Adidas Adios Pro 3 after 100 miles are incredibly detailed and informative. It's evident you've thoroughly tested the shoe's performance and durability. Your thorough breakdown of each aspect provides valuable guidance for viewers considering this product. Keep up the great work! One question, Stelvio - if you know a shoe like Hoka Carbon X3. Does Adidas have some shoes like these?
Thank you so much Mihai! For watching and for the nice comment. Actually I didn't run with the Hoka Carbon X3, but I believe the Pro 3 could be the closest one in the Adidas lineup. Of course I might be wrong 🤷♂️
My Adidas Pro 3 with over 160 km feel and look new. Real Supershoe feel. Best for PB. I do find the midsole getting only better and better unlike ZoomX..
Gonna buy this shoe. Got my 10 K pb and my best race in the Pro 2 this year. I also had my best treshold workout and best longrun of the year in it. Much more durable than Vaporfly I think.
I did the same with my Pro2 and I appreciate the Pro3 even though I like the fact the Pro 2 is more slim. I didn't reached this mileage yet with the Vaporfly, because for my feet it is kind of narrow in the forefoot, so I can use it only for short distances
Good to see this carbon plate shoe lives up to its reputation. How do you like the padding around the heel and ankle areas? This is always a problem for me with "fast" running shoes. Any improvement or the same? Nice NYC T-shirt, btw ;)
Hi Thomas, I’m sceptical usually about too much padding around and I like more to run in lower stack height shoe, but this shoe is a great compromise, for easy and fast paces too. Thank you so much, who knows maybe next year NYC marathon 😊 Thanks for watching!
I have 400km on my Adios Pro 3. The rubber in the forefoot is getting thin but otherwise they are in very good contrition. The midsole does not seem to break down. As a general criticism, though, they are too heavy.
Yes, It surprises me, I expected it less durable. The previous version was better in this regard, it was lighter and more slim. Thanks for the comment and for watching!
It depends, for easy running the Duramo speed, for short fast workouts the EC5/adios8 and for long tempo run and racing the Adios Pro 3. In general so last year it was the Adios Pro 2 and in the year before the Boston 9
