Congratulations from Brazil! For us Brazilians the "Flap T /ɾ/" sounds more like a fast "R" than a "d". Your videos are astonishing. I would like to see an explanation of "reductions" in American English.
Hi, according to the rule on stop t, is it safe to say that the t in “Scotland” is a stop t? Thank you so much and I love learning from you to improve myself!❤
what a great video ! i've only a doubt with the ( safety ) pronounciation, i had never heard this flap t with this word before. thanks for teaching us american english !
Hi @nothing-xm9nk - Thanks for your question :) The "t" in "it" can be the flap, and depending on the speaker's preferences and how quickly they're talking, they're probably going to use a flap T in "it" instead of a stop T. I hope this helps! :)
