The story/lore are shallow only for those who aren't fans of/don't know the LoL universe. As a huge Runterra fan it was super interesting to me and it was a blast interacting with those characters and the world.
This is exactly what I thought and why I made this video! I saw some marketing for the game saying you didn’t bees to be a fan of LoL to enjoy the game, and that was mostly true. Its a great little adventure. But I also felt like I was missing part of the story. Either because they expected me to know or because they thought I wouldn’t notice. But Im so glad you had a great time with it! It definitely seems like its perfect for fans of the series. 😊
I think you're underselling one main factor that this game nailed in my opinion- its cozyness/wholesomeness. This game has a dedicated hug button. So I think that if you have a soft spot for that kind of experience (which I absolutely do) Song of Nunu definitely is something for you.
That's a very good point and I agree! There's definitely a lot of wholesomeness throughout the experience. It didn't always land for me, or at least not in the way I feel it may have intended. I typically love cozy and wholesome experiences in games but this one felt more shallow a lot of the times in my opinion. But that's not to say it's not there and I definitely think it'll click with some folks more than others. 😊
I played League for about a year then lost interest completely but that was a long time ago now and given the reputation of the Community it's unlikely I'll ever go back to it. During my playtime with it I never got into the Lore but after watching this I'm going to buy this game and treat it as its own thing.
Yeah but what’s the point having games that are too difficult gaming is about enjoying and exploring regardless of age age shouldn’t even come into it games are for everyone to enjoy if your into games who really wants tough stressful pointless games well I guess everyone as their own views but gaming to me is enjoying and having fun crash bandicoot 4 was a fantastic game but stupidly too hard when you got games like Spyro Mario Smurf vileaf and prisoner green stone koa kangeroo hat in time all those games are extremely fun and that’s what games should be about not played song of Nunu but it looks great
I agree! Folks are welcome to enjoy any game regardless of age. I'm not saying you can't play this if you're not a child at all. I'm really more so talking about how the story is presented. It felt a bit like watching an episode of children's television to me. It wasn't engaging, but I think it was because the game may be targeted for younger audiences and minds. Which is good! There are games for everyone and that's good! Just thought people might like to know that before going in so I mentioned it in the review. Great game overall though! High quality and well made. 😀
@@RoboDessert I haven’t tired it yet but it looks like a fun game plenty of good games now days they have so many 3D adventure games on the switch but thank you I will give it a go 😊👍

Really great review! Quick and succinct
Thank you! 😊 And thanks so much for watching!

I think that's a great way to approach it! It definitely stands on it's own just fine!
This seems like it'd be a cool game to share with younger gamers in the family!
Exactly my thought as well!

@@RoboDessert yeah that’s fair enough I get what your saying I guess you never know what games are like to you actually play them yourself.
Yeah absolutely! I do recommend this game if you like wholesome adventures for sure. 😊

I love Nunu and Willump and I play LoL for 7 years now. And yeah this is kiddie version of God of War 😅
Haha yeah. And its not necessarily a bad thing! Great for the right audience, but not everyone’s cup of tea for sure.
nice review bro .. not buying it .. 😅 thanks alot .. your reviews are very good to be honest and real
Hey thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate the feedback and I'm glad the video helped you make a decision one way or another. 😊
You're 25, right?
Yes that's 100% correct.
