As we leave Johnstown PA eastbound on PA 56 as we climb the ridge we go through Steward to reach left turn onto PA 711 to reach New Florence PA as PRR now NS is to our right side down in the Conemaugh River Valley with B&O which serviced the PA 403 side. At PA 56 & PA 711 at the bridge over the Conemaugh River the PA RR's CP & PA Canal location is still there today.
Major issues with court records also were not mentioned in either video by RP or Scott which facts are as follows Johnstown PA is in Cambria County PA as somehow the Dam was in court records stating it was based in Allegheny County PA which is the County seat of Pittsburg now Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.
@@RedoubtProductions1754 I got it. I was kinda chuckling about how he said "earf" and "firty" instead of "earth" and "thirty." But even so, this was probably the best coverage of this event I've seen aside from TV documentary shows. And this was better than some of THEM even!
@@jamesboerner4172 @James Boerner Hey, its cool. The one thing everyone must prepare themselves for with my videos is I've inherited old-school yinzer talk. I try to speak as clean as I can but its too ingrained into me.
@@RedoubtProductions1754 omg you did fantastic. I wasn't teasing you about your clarity - I understood every word. It just sounded like you use the "F" sound whenever there's a "th" sound, as in "earf" instead of "earth," and "firty" as opposed to "thirty." But informationally,, visually, contextually and clarity are all fantastic - beautiful job. I have a suggestion for a video, too, if you're interested. It'd be a challenge if you're up to it!
Great archival videos. What an awful tragedy and testimony of bureaucratic neglect and moral irresponsibility.

@@RedoubtProductions1754 the "Titanic" of dam tragedies, with half-again more deaths. 1500 or so on Titanic, 2200 or so in Johnstown. Astonishing.
