    Until the 1970s nonone gave a rats if Aboriginal people ate "mutton fish" and derided it. It was plentiful. It was one of the few unimpeded protein sources left to coastal peoples. It stayed plentiful.
    Now... even that resources is contested and endangered and another Aboriginal resource is colonised.

    An Agoriginal money grab, as there is nothing Cultural except the Western worlds price for it ..
    Goanna and Wallaby will never be served in Tassie ..
    Watch Abalone numbers fall Just like Spanish Mackrel another non indigenous seafood ...
    Sea turtle? well, we'll see if Palawa kani can serve that in local restaurants ...

      White man never dived for abalone until money was involved ...held aboriginal people from getting it so they could make there million australia so racist towards aboriginal people

    Product of Australia, sold to Asia, imported back to Australia. Packaged as farmed abalone from Australia. God bless the queen
