I was shocked not to see Clark but we already know you can handle it all Krista. I’ll be glad when he’s back though just because that’s what I’m used to and I’m glad you had a guest on today that helped a lot thank you.
What's Warren's saying? The stock market is a great device for transferring wealth from the impatient to the patient. Get in early and buy often and the rest will take care of itself.
well done, thanks for confirming what i already do and know, now that i'm well into retirement the money investment machine which i self manage at vanguard is doing very well, start RMDs next year but doing Roth conversions for the last 7 years (nearly tax free)
Really good discussion guys and I agree with Wes 100%. Time tested investment strategies have withstood the test of time for good reason. They just work. Cheers!
basic math shows 2% to be a joke assuming it just keeps up with inflation 3% you'd take 50 years to draw down your portfolio if your retiring even at 40 you'd have to wait until 100 for it to be a problem
You're not supposed to buy or keep stock in your employer because you're already over exposed by having only one customer for your labor. Even if it's free stock, if that company sinks, you may lose your job, and having stock in the company is tying yourself to a sinking ship with a second rope. Even if the company does well, it's doubtful that it's stock performance will beat the S&P 500 over time, and you'll wish you had made the switch. Sell it all except for the original share so you can hang up that certificate if there is one and look like a company man. Why not? Giving a free share out is obviously a psychological gimmick to drive higher performance without a pay raise or a promotion, so since you've been dragged into that arena, play that game homey!
Of course we missed Clark, but you and Wes filled in very well for Clark 😘 8:10
💚
Christa, you hit a home run!
💚
I've thrown in some small cap value, international, managed futures, and gold to diversify my 60/40, but I think the traditional 60/40 is fine too.
Christa - you did great! Clark would approve.

Great show!!!!!
Great job 😊
Love this episode!!
Thank you Christa! and Wes
Well done the both of you
Such a good show. Should be called "The Christa & Clark who? Show." Or maybe "Christa & Friends."
😂💚
Could anyone direct me to Wes's website and or podcast, please?

You Rock Christa 😊

#TeamClarkRocks Great job, Christa. Welcome, Wes. I bet Clark's perusing the "$1.25 Store." Lol.
😂😂💚
Good info as usual. The green circle (from the light) in his glasses is a bit distracting. Love the show!
Great job guys!!! 😊
You can certainly withdraw contributions from a Roth. It’s still a horrific unrecoverable mistake.
💯💯💯
Is Clark winding down and they are putting out some feelers for a replacement host? 🤔
Whats his podcast link?

Good luck only withdrawing just 2.25% out of your portfolio since RMD's at age 73 will be far higher than that.
I’ve also heard not to get bonds until you’re 50 yrs. old.
All right! K😂
Clark deserves a day off ❤
Again insurance is not an investment. And everyone pays taxes eventually.
Stay away from those criminals trying to scam you with that annuity garbage!

Well done . I am a 50 year reader of the WSJ and I had similar thoughts about this article 🎉😊🎉
I lost 50 percent from 2007 to 2009, but have gained over 600 percent since.
Nice job Christa and Wes, good information. I like the fact acronyms are explained.
Thank you Team Clark.
$800 is irrelevant. Sell as they come and add to your retirement account.
Thank you for covering for Clark. Thank you for your knowledge and sharing with us .
It’s good when Wes Moss comes on Clark Howard show! they both give out great well thought out advice and with both you get different perspectives.

Great information. Thank you so much!
Good video. Krista looks hot.
They “work” the same now as they’ve ever “worked.”
My retirement plan is to start a UA-cam business channel & get a very smart impressive woman to run it for me while I play hooky...seems to work well!
😂
