7:00 For those asking about the difference between candy and regular paint-Candy is translucent with a low opacity. Regular paint has a high opacity.
    Great job Jay

So Is the body sealed before spraying if so with what? Like sanding sealer? I am wanting to do this to an unfinsihed guitar soon and need help on what to do to the body to get a smooth result before spraying? THanks love these videos!

Also wondering if you put clear coat on after the paint dries or is it all in the paint steps? Man I hope I can do this!!

Yes, they always get a clear coat after the color.

Would Gold Top gold (Gibson) be suitable under candy apple red?

Hey Jay you guys aren't hiring apprentices are you? I'd work for less than minimum wage at any hours and sleep in my car just to learn more about this. It's such an interesting skill. I've sprayed glaze on tile that was installed in Starbucks around the country and glazed tile for a bunch of Swimming pools. What would one do to get into a career spraying guitars? I'm willing to sacrifice lots just to be involved with the field. Thanks for the inspiration.

@@JNcolor Thank you very much sir, where are u guys located and actually what company is it? I'm gonna keep working on practicing up here and learning more. Save some money to move out of State. I'm in Portland Oregon now. Then maybe find a job to keep me afloat and be persistent. Currently I am just working maintenance for the school district and doing guitars as a hobby . I appreciate the inspiration. Have a nice day.

@@CensorWars Lets see if you can figure that information out. It's all right there.

@@JNcolor Thanks Jay, Got it figured out. Haha. Such a cool setup. From 2019 til 2021 , I had set up a nice booth like that and I was just getting into aging guitars. Had a ton of success , after Covid I had to sell much of my equipment and tools , your videos inspired me to work even harder and slowly build back up my stuff. I can honestly say that I've never had more fun, working, than when I was spraying a guitar. It's definitely something I'm not going to give up on and will strive to become better on a daily basis.
Thanks for chatting with me and I look forward to seeing some of your new projects.

@@Billy_Dino It was me painting. He was copying my Instagram videos and reposting them on UA-cam pretending to be me.

@@JNcolor oh now I get it... Sad to be honest..so I wonder you have all of them backed up, but if don't and you want the material I still got it saved cause I reckon your videos are the most valuable stuff I've ever saw in terms of tutorials. They helped me to get through my first Sunburst with such confidence! I would like to show you sometime on Instagram pics of my first paint job to get your feedback! Cheers mate keep rocking
