Wow I think that VR option is pretty cool. That’s definitely the future for language learning. Being able to have real conversation with a artificial intelligence simulation would be cool.
I was surprised when I saw I’m in the leaderboard when you show it in the video lol I’ve been using Mondly for 6 months and I was able to get myself to a basic conversational level. I found it to be very helpful and managed to survive only speaking Spanish while in Spain for the majority of the time. With that being said Mondly is great for helping you build a foundation but you should also including other methods and materials for learning a language.
Thanks for another great review on another language app. Mondly has some unique different features I haven't seen before. The Pimsleur and Rocket courses may be the best choice for some serious verbal training for me. I really like the different choices you show in these reviews.
Mondly seems like a nice option for casually learning a new language. I like that the lessons are short and easy to do in 15-20 minutes. I don’t really like how they don’t have much instruction on grammar. That could make it difficult to master the language if needing to learn for work. But overall this seems like a really nice option for learning a new language.
I just noticed that. I think the reason because in the Real World no one speaks good. For Grammar read books like a nerd. I learned the hard way that pronunciation is more important.
I found out actually that they include lots of grammar actually which is surprising to me but I always go in between mondly and duolingo though they have their prop and cons
WOW, great tutorial!!! As someone actually embarking in learning Finnish, your negative point #3 was right on my current needs and made me realize Mondly is not the best at the moment. But I may consider it when learning other latin languages like French or Italian that have less complext grammar rules.
Kia ora, from Aotearoa! I'm doing research into the most effective/cost-effective app for me to learn Italian. Hubby and I got married 2 years ago and I'd like to get my Italian passport which requires level B1 Italian to obtain, so, here I am - 2023 goal :) My husband is Italian/Scottish born in South Africa, but grew up in NZ from the age of 11. I am Maori/Croatian/English grew up in NZ. Croatian will be the next language I hope to learn. Thanks for all your videos, making the app research part a lot easier for me!
I used this app several years back and it was love/ hate. Based on your review I'll give it a second try. (TBF, it's also one of the few that offers what I want to learn, Catalan)
Great video! I have had premium Mondly for a few months and I did not know about the VR option. I am still trying to figure out how to access it....lol
Eduardo was not real familiar with Mondly Review, but after watching your video it sounds like a solid language learning option. Really like the VR and AR learning apps. I want to brush up on my Portuguese. Thanks for the video.
Ben bu uygulamayı kullanıyorum. İşe yaradığından emin değilim. Cümleleri anlamaya başladım. Ama hatasız konuşmak istiyorum. İsveçce öğrenenler sıralamasına ikinci sıradayım😉
Well there are a ton of interesting languages to learn, so I would probably choose spanish as I like their culture and it is a bit similar to mine (Indian) !
Hi there! I'm searching for a cost effective app for my 10 years old son to learn english. So far besides hungarian, our mother tongue he is fluent in german.
I can't stand the social engineering going on in all these apps, with animations and actors being black and brown, both men and women. If I want to learn German, I want to see German people speaking German. I say this as a person of color. This alone makes me avoid all these apps.
No, it is no good at all. Their site crashed after three days. No answer on my mails. Please pay a little more and find a customer freindly site. Waste of money!

I'd love to learn Chinese and french!! Do you guys have reviews for busuu?
Hi Mary! We're actually reviewing Busuu and Lingoda right now. Should have those review videos out within 2-3 weeks :-)
Monday looks interesting but a little basic as far as teachables, would be interested to see your take on ouino
We'll check it out :)
I want to learn Chinese, Japanese, German and French, at least.
Whoa, go for it!!
Great review.
What’s the best app to learn another language? How much do they charge for premium subscription?
Is Mondly worth it to become a decent speaker?
Mondly is a solid app and has some strengths, but if you're looking for the overall best, I would check out Rocket Languages or Pimsleur.
very helpful
I have found that the voice activated button only works about 10% of the time.
I would love to give this platform a try
Thanks for watching Israel!
Well there are a ton of interesting languages to learn, so I would probably choose spanish as I like their culture and it is a bit similar to mine (Indian) !
