Two of my parents neighbors in central California are Persian so we are rarely lacking for saffron. One year we had them over for a holiday dinner and I prepared a whole rack of beef ribs with a saffron salt rub that left the rack a beautiful, glowing, yellow orange. No scrap of meat remained and no bone was left unclean. Our Persian neighbors are our most generous and genuine. Fine people.

I wish the people of the world would know that Iran is not the way the media and our enemies show it. I feel sad when I see it. Whoever asks about Iran, the people of the world say that Iran is unsafe and dangerous, or they say that Iran is scary
When I saw a part of the movie 300, I said how can the enemies show the people and history of Iran like this. Even the media reflected the Iranians' protest against the movie 300. I really don't know what to say... Anyway, thank you Mark :)
