Another great video Joris. Is this where you went for your previous 'snow' video. One of the trees towards the end looked familiar and it's always good to go to the same location in different conditions
I just picked up a gently used Tokina 11-16 ATX-i f2.8 CF. The newer version of the lens you're using. Its a great Lens for crop sensor cameras. I'm using a Canon R7. I haven't really used it for a lot of landscapes yet, I need to spend a day doing this with this lens. Its hard to reach for that Tokina because I also picked up a Nikkor 105/f2.5 Ai that I have adapted to my Canon. Man, that's a killer lens! The colors, the bokeh, its very interesting! Fun video!
I didn’t know you could adapt a Nikkor to a cannon 🤔 that’s interesting. I can imagine it’s super fun using the 105 😁 the Tokina is also fun but a bit less versatile because it’s super wide. I also would use the 105 more I guess 😂
Why did you break that gate man. Tsk tsk 😂 my 16-35mm broke few months ago, so I still need to replace it. Surprisingly, I feel like I don’t necessarily need it. Very seldom I hoped I was wider than 24mm. With that said, I still want it back 😂 great video dude, loved the lighting too. You shot some good ones 😁
Because it was in the way of my goal 😂 making that video I also was thinking that I not really need it, but it’s a nice to have lens 😁 I almost not use it, but if it would break, I think I will miss it. I wasn’t super happy with the photos, but it was more for demonstration 😊
And I also had the plan to make that video, only shooting with the 300mm. But my tamron in actually broken and it’s not fun to shoot with it. I need to replace it, but I don’t have the budget for it at the moment.
@kuroryu9778 i think it’s more than the af motor, because the image stabilization also doesn’t work anymore. I think the aperture still works, but I’m not a 100 sure 😬😂 when I can invest in a new one, I’m gonna open up the tamron to see what the problem is and maybe I can fix it. I’m scared to open it now, because I know my self and there is a chance I destroy it completely 😂
I shot it at f10 but when the foreground element is so close to the lens it will be soft. It wouldn’t be super noticeable on UA-cam, but it was fun to make a focus stack photo 😁
A lot of modern or mirrorless cameras now have a focus stacking feature built into the camera. Its so easy to get great focus stacks now! And the Tokina 11-16 f2.8 is a great lens to use with this as it has such a small amount of focus breathing. I need to try it out with the my 11-16 and see what it can do.
To be honest it makes sense. I tried to take a picture today f11 on my Canon 90D... And it just did not work.. Then I remembered your vid on photostacking. Will give it a try tomorrow if the weather permits
Prachtige foto's bedankt voor de uitleg
Dank je wel om weer te kijken 😁 ik hoop dat het wat duidelijk was mijn uitleg

Thank you for the kind words Andy. No this is a different place actually. Pretty close to home 😁

Mooi, duidelijk een leuke uitstap!
Dank je wel Kris 😁

Cant wait till you do one for the opposite side of the focal length with the 300mm
In Friday’s video I’m only using my Tamron 70-300, but this was not on purpose. When I was editing the video, I noticed I only used that lens 😁
And I also had the plan to make that video, only shooting with the 300mm.

@@JorisVanDeuneghem that sucks, did the af motor gave out. I have seen that problem popping up on the used market.

Knap gedaan Joris !
Dank je wel 😊 ik hoop dat het een beetje interessant was
Great explanation on the photo stacking. But why not just shoot f10 or 12?

Yes that’s true and if I had a camera with auto focus stacking, I would use it a lot 😁 take your tokina and go shoot some photos 😁

@willemdebeer2507 I’m happy to read it was a helpful video 😁 I guess from your name, you are from the Nederlands?
