Been watching for half a decade. Never left a comment. Here is my first: I am very glad that you are getting better.
Oh, damn Chaco, i had Bells Palsy in 2007. Had Lyme Disease and it got my facial and optics nerves. Couldn't rinse my mouth out right for almost a month, water shooting out the side that didn't work. Droopy eyes and face, good times for sure!
Hang in there, it goes away.
Damn brother that's alot to battle. Congrats on beating Lyme Disease it almost killed my brother took him 2 years to test negative for it.
Same thing happened to me in like 2005... thought I was having a stroke, scared the crap out of me. Figured out it was Lyme disease quick enough to get it whipped with antibiotics thank goodness.

Yeah, it was pretty rough back then. I ended up with acute CNS Lyme and they mistook it for meningitis. By the time it was worse my left eye stopped moving, I had the damn Bells Palsy and slept 20 hours a day for 2 months
@markchristof3426 man your a trooper. Lyme disease is potent. I've had meningitis 3x (luckily all viral) and it was brutal but was very concentrated. I watched my brother suffer for years. I'm happy that you bear it brother 👍 👌

I had bells palsy after getting Lyme disease 2 summers ago. I had to propose to my wife like that! Totally understand the feels. Hopefully you feel better soon!

@@unclereub4024 yeah. My circumstance was kind of wild. The doctors think I got bit twice by two different Lyme carriers. First one gave me red spots all over my body, the second one gave me bells. To answer your question, no idea how long either was on me. Never saw either of them 😱

You seem in pretty good spirits about it man, keep focusing on the healing and give it time i got about 95% back after 7-8 weeks, started as cellulitis, you’ll be right back in no time bro

I had bells palsy as a teenager and it was one of the scariest episodes in my life. Still have some muscle loss issues and nerve damage in that side of the face now (like, 20 years later), but the physio did really help. Godspeed Choco!

I have cerebral palsy but it affects my left arm and leg fortunately nothing with my face outside of my neck injury. I am really happy to see that you're trying to stream again and personally I don't think your condition will affect viewership when streaming or on youtube. I'm sure all of us just want you to be happy and do what makes you most comfortable. Much love!

I've had it twice: 1x from an infection, second time was from trauma to my check which caused swelling, cutting off the one nerve that controls that side of your face. The faster you go to the doctor and they can get you on medication, the better off you are. Massive amount of meds at the start that gradually decreases over a period of 2 weeks. That's how it was both times I had it. First time, was scary af. Next time, it was like, meh. Glad you are recovering, not everyone does.

My wife had Bells Palsy last year, it took around 6-8 weeks for it to clear up through medication and rest. It noticeably mended itself bit by bit.
I feel for ya choco. I had bells palsy in 2020 and it suuucked. Fortunately my face made a full recovery, but I too was unable to blink with one of my eyes and had the full half facial paralysis

Don't forget when your eyes start drying out, you can get autologous blood serum eye drops made from your own blood, and they're much more sustainable (less irritating) to use than OTC eye drops. I've had to do this for decades now from corneal chemical burns and shattered glass, and it's the only reason I'm not always blind from RES / chronic dry eye. I wish I could be a streamer, but I can't take screens every day without it catching up with me during the dry winter months. Being a physical human sucks... wish the freaks who run this simulation would just let us get to the cybernetic body phase already!

First of all - congrats on getting better. It's sad and scary that things like that happend you. I guess we all have to go through something like this at least once in our lives. So happy that you're ok. Also, I don't mind seeing your broken face in the corner, believe me nobody cares, we're just glad you're ok and you look just find. Other weird thing that I mentioned - when you drive and talk with your cam off it really feels like a FPS screaming. Anyways, get better soon.
