I love this track. I forget about it until something "passive" occurs to me and then > bam < I need to get my fix again. Very dystopian, yet applicable.
I remember when we heard this in 198something, and we were quite dosed, and this song came on, and I was scared to DEATH! I thought Nancy Regan's AntiDrug Police were going to break in on me at that very moment!
I can remember cycling home from my mate's house convinced that Mark Stewart was driving around in a brown Ford Transit van, and was going to run me over.
The whole album is pretty much like this. A typical Adrian Sherwood/On-U Sound production from this period, with Keith Leblanc and Skip Macdonald forming the backing mostly.

Very apt soundtrack for our current troubled times.

Sounds like Throbbing Gristle meets Ministry.
This actually came out the same year as Twitch, which was also produced by Adrian Sherwood, hence the similarities.
