The company is terrible to work for (everyone is quitting and or trying to unionize due to sooo much Bs I can’t even get started) but their bathbombs are wayyyyyyy better than most you’ll find online. Worse they reused the name 'snowcake' for a new soap that wasn't at all comparable to the original. The original was soft, and creamy. No added scent or color. Smelled like almond. People with eczema stocked up in December for the whole year because of how soft and gentle it was. Now "snowcake" is blue, has scent, was drying, didn't smell like the original and was hardly usable because the layers separated when the soap was wet. Other people prioritize different things in their lives. If they happen to prioritize having a nice fancy bath all the time so be it. It's not your money is it?
Lush has changed a few products that weren’t 100% vegan so I’m assuming the new compound is stirring up some controversy.. However, I want the company to explain why their expiration dates have changed from English to another language as it makes it hard to read for me. That’s what’s been pissing me off lately 😂 Thankfully i have the internet to translate but still
Yeah I stopped going to lush a while ago especially after a worker kept telling me certain products were great for eczema and it could help heal a lot of my breakouts just for me to use those very products and have my entire body from head to toe break out for like a year straight. I ended taking my products with me to the Doctor and my physicians eyes nearly popped out her head when she not only smelled but tested the products on herself, she began itching her hands almost immediately and she doesn't even have eczema

Don't let a shady company rip u off, and don't fully trust all these weird UA-cam started companies/products
In Poland they do wrap it separately in paper wraps, so here it's not common to get broken products... 😮 Idk why it's not a standard everywhere. And also our delivery people (like UPS etc.) are mostly good with keeping our packages good. 😅
Is that the UK or US? Both? I could understand if it was from one specific factory that needs a management revamp, or worker(s) rehire, but I wouldn't think it was every one or from different factories. Or if it was from different ones, it could be a downfall for Lush. Maybe they stop using the bags because of them loosing business? I recently went to Japan and saw them flourishing so I highly doubt it's a worldwide thing 🤔

Their customer service is horrible. I ordered one of their super luxe $120 perfumes and I barely used it because the scent didn’t last long at all and it felt like a ripoff for that much money when my $60 perfume could be smelled on my clothes the next day. Anyways I got in contact with customer service so be able to send it back and they refused to send a shipping label. They wanted me to pay $40 bucks to send their shitty product back. I haven’t purchased anything from them since then.
All I want to say is that the people at Lush in Chandler Fashion Square are amazing! Soo helpful, very nice, and funny. Products are still good. I don't get them shipped; I'm sorry this happened to you. Hopefully, it's only a few bad employees and not the company as a whole.
Ex lush employee here, inconsistency is lush's expertise. Sometimes we would get products tht were manufactered at the same place but have different smells and colours. Also sometimes they reach our shop in an already bad state.
This is so true my brother got me and my sister lush for Christmas and they were both completely crushed so we didn’t get to see the cute shapes they were in!
I’ve never had this issue from LUSH before… their support is awesome so definitely use it. Hell, you can return an almost entirely used product in store and get it replaced for free/refunded.
Lush only lasts for so long and also who orders it and expects soap to be perfectly in tact? That's just stupid, go to the store and then it will be fine.
Lmao I remember going into a store and seeing a whole ass garlic in one of the facemask bowls. Weird as shit, and what made it worse was the cashier said he was so hungry and he wanted to eat it. Like SIR THAT IS A WHOLE GARLIC
Lush is expensive AF! I returned $60 worth of bath bombs and it was only 3 items! They made my kids skin break out for a week. Now this video is making sense.
Honestly- their bath bombs.. They get the job done nomatter what.. I understand being angry when you pay alot of money for the bathbomb to look pretty and it gets messed up but at the end of the day they still work
I stopped using their bath bombs when I bought them for my daughters and they both turned pink, including hair. My older one had to go to school that way next day, and no need to mention that I had a real problem cleaning my bath stained in pink. I did complain and send them photos of my children and bath, and all I got was apology and free bath bomb 🤦♀️
I reached out to them on a few occasions and they respond super fast. I send them a picture and they sent me a store credit or refund or product replacement. Just reach out via their email rather than call them out and tag them online. Of course they wont respond when a shit load of ppl are tagging.
😂 spending hundreds on something that probably cost them $10 to make😂 be nice when people start realizing their spending top dollar not on quality, but just because something has a brand logo on it. Once that happens these companies will stop charging a arm and a leg.
I work for lush and when I first started I secretly was wondering why tf the prices were so high and assumed it was for the reasons you just stated (standard big company exploitation) but after working there for a while now I can tell you there are actually quite a few reasons the products are as expensive as they are, if you want me to explain send a reply and I will👍
Just buy them in at the actual store if you don’t want them to arrive in shitty conditions. Or don’t buy them at all. Are they actually necessary? Can you live without them?

Something weird is happening. They closed a major location here in Auckland, New Zealand. I get my shampoo and conditioner and body wash through them and now I am wondering what to swap to that will work for my hair. But getting out to get their stuff is getting difficult and their prices have increased a crazy amount since pre Covid. So anyone with suggestions please let me know. Curly hair girl here. 3C curls. They send their stuff "naked". There's no problem with it, if done right. When I order on the Dutch website, the packages have cardboard pieces, creating little sections to seperate the products and keep them from rolling around. Nothing ever comes damaged. This is not a Lush problem, this is a problem in those packing departments.

@@slayer7965 what's confusing? Their products have a handmade feel but not in a good way, they seem sloppily done
100% cap. I’ve been shopping there for years and worked there for a season. The company is terrible to work for (everyone is quitting and or trying to unionize due to sooo much Bs I can’t even get started) but their bathbombs are wayyyyyyy better than most you’ll find online. All products are handmade buy a factory of people. This video is showing people getting old bathbombs sent to them. So they all look chaulky but they function just fine.
That’s completely false. Lush has always had pretty good quality products that definitely match their prices.
@@Deadly_Potato I disagree. Nothing has ever stood out to me and their pricing is outrageous. I've tried shampoos, body washes etc, and some handmade things from smaller shops are actually nicer
I remember when lush was just started I was great now idk how to feel
Still haven't forgiven Lush for removing products like Tiny Hands, Ice Blue Soap, Snow Fairy, and SO MANY OTHER PRODUCTS that drew me to them.
omg i LOVED snow fairy so much 😭😭
@@girlinredenthusiastSnow Fairy comes every December. Its a Christmas limited edition item.
@@yellowishgreendragon.-. I think it might in the UK, but it was discontinued for a lot of other countries
I didnt mind paying a premium for lush back in the day but the quality and customer service isn't what it was
@@candlelitpeppermintcarniva8509 I'm in Australia.
Maybe don’t buy soap products that are greenwashing at best and overboard wasteful consumerism
damn ppl really upset over that 😂😂😂😂there is so much more in the world that actually matters
Wow it's almost as if people can be upset about more than one thing at once
I think people are allowed to be upset that a product they paid for is damaged.
Hundreds of dollars on bath bombs?? Nah I just spent hundreds of dollars on rob zombie tickets
😂
I’m glad it wasn’t just me. I’ve always found lush to be of high quality but my last few packages over the months have been broken or damaged :((. Makes me happy I’ve never spent more than $30 at lush, rip to the people that are spending more though. What a shame
This is why I still go in store
I think we should deal with the first problem of people spending hundreds of dollars on bath bombs and we’ll move on from there.
I mean it could be for presents or client gifts i know a couple of companies that do that for holidays. I mean people spend their money on whatever they want. If they spend the money the deserve an undamaged product.
@@waffleface5940 not that deep buddy. Plus I feel spending hundreds of dollars on bathbombs as a gift is even worse. Equivalent of getting someone a gift card for a store that is 3 towns away
@@kzendo6542 they want to complain about what other people do with their own money like it’s their money🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

This is why its better to support local small handmade business they make better prettier safer and better smelling packaged , natural bombs. this is why lush is so hasty to Copyright and sue over similar products... They get outshined everytime
For sure! I 100% agree with u, and natural stuff are ofc gonna be pricy but 100x more worth it! I totally agree with u
@11:11 Audios look up locally handmade bathbombs near you there's so many now
@11:11 Audios see theres none. These people who say this local shit are full of it. They dont know what theh aee talking about because they arent serious.
I understand the fact that it's poorly packaged, but they don't control how the shipping process goes. They can pay for fragile shipping, but that doesn't guarantee a good mailman or business ethic
but that's the point of packaging on their end. as a buisness you're meant to do you best to package things in a way that avoids that. they havent
If it was packed right it wouldn’t be a problem! I’ve packed light bulbs at Amazon that never gotten broken because I packed them right!
That’s why they need to wrap and secure them. If they were packed properly it wouldn’t be that bad
You know a company did wrong by their patrons when they suddenly go private and mute comments/hide them
they haven't suddenly "gone private" they left social media years ago
This is why my mom banned any of our family from buying lush unless they go in the store
I used to go to them more often but it felt like it was more specialized items and the daily ones don't last very long. The prices definitely have gone up but that seems to be everywhere.
If you are spending “hundreds”of dollars on bath bombs and they are broken I think it’s time to wake up
Tru
If you’re buying bath bombs in general it’s time to wake up lol
Oh please, shut up, you don’t get to judge people on how they spend their money, the least that could happen is the product come intact
Other people prioritize different things in their lives.
If they happen to prioritize having a nice fancy bath all the time so be it.
It's not your money is it?
Then they don’t get to complain if it comes broken
Lush has changed a few products that weren’t 100% vegan so I’m assuming the new compound is stirring up some controversy..
However, I want the company to explain why their expiration dates have changed from English to another language as it makes it hard to read for me. That’s what’s been pissing me off lately 😂 Thankfully i have the internet to translate but still
If you really want lush, that bad, just go to the store and buy some. They’re packaging at the store is so much better than ordering online.
"just go to the store" as though everyone lives near a physical store 🤦🏼♀️
Yeah I stopped going to lush a while ago especially after a worker kept telling me certain products were great for eczema and it could help heal a lot of my breakouts just for me to use those very products and have my entire body from head to toe break out for like a year straight. I ended taking my products with me to the Doctor and my physicians eyes nearly popped out her head when she not only smelled but tested the products on herself, she began itching her hands almost immediately and she doesn't even have eczema
All their stuff makes me breakout but I thought it was me because I have sensitive skin
Unlucky
@@itsallgood3706 same I'm usually super picky with the products I use because just about anything with cause a break out 😭 I should've listened to my gut bot those darn employees were so convincing, guaranteeing that I'd return for more 🙄
Thats your fault for trusting a hourly wage employees opinion on your skin. Idiot.
Ugh, this sucks. The Lush store me shut down sometime last year, so my only option is online now.
That’s why people should boycott and let them go bankrupt
Why even buy their stuff? As a 30yr old male I've never used a bath bomb, but if I frequently brought products from them and they were recieved damaged like this frequently then I would be petty and get my money back in court. Although I've never used one so I shouldn't talk since I don't know what I could be missing out on.
Don't let a shady company rip u off, and don't fully trust all these weird UA-cam started companies/products
@@ghostly2741 I just don't get bath bombs. What am I five? 😅
i like the soaps and the shower gels. they smell really good
Because it’s fun and they smell nice. I’m a dude and have used a lot of Lush’s products. Some people like luxurious baths and some don’t 🤷🏻♂️
yeah that’s the best idea too bad people won’t do it and they’ll still buy their overpriced bath bombs
I was about to say just wash it but then I realized….. 😅
LOL 😆 🤣
I occasionally work at lush. This should not have happened, we work hard to make good products for customers and packaging too
It is tho so...
Lush is bs they use you for seasonal man power and throw you away I was core staff for years at manu lmao don’t break your body making soap
The staff are always lovely in lush but all their recipes seem to have glitter these days :(
We have released a fair few products with glitter lately, what issues are you finding with the glitter tho? It shouldn't irritate the skin or anything it's not micro plastics like glitter usually is it's made out of sythentic organic material.

Their prices for the simple bathbombs have sky rocketed within the last three years. I completely stopped buying their products because of that.
Yeah I was shocked last time I went in. I wanted some of the Mario collection but the price was not worth it.
I ordered a gift for a friend from lush, and was so excited to give it to her. It cost 💲90 too!! When she opened it, the bath bombs were crumbly and had no shape anymore, and the dust from them was all over the other products. Then the creams and moisturizers were only half full. I was so disappointed and frustrated and sad.
Wow I mean now atleast people know not to buy from them because they will scam you I’m supprised because I always rembered lush being a “bouje” some what compay crazy how they flipped
I feel like liking lush used to be a trend, all the classic 2016~ influencers would post about them/use their products. Now barely anyone does. I guess the lesser demand has effected them?

They still have customer service though not everything must be resolved through instagram message
have you used corporate customer service lately? companies are getting the bad publicity they deserve for horrendous service. why not handle it instagram?? Why is the customer obligated to handle it privately if the company isn't going to even try to do the right thing?
I found it really difficult to get an actual rep though. They try to make you use an auto mated chat bot.

Yh im a lush employee and I was never aware of this problem, must either be made up or a regional problem
You're basically exposing UA-camrs and tik tokers in a good way 🤣
I’ve never had this issue from LUSH before… their support is awesome so definitely use it. Hell, you can return an almost entirely used product in store and get it replaced for free/refunded.
Did you order anything by mail recently?
Lush only lasts for so long and also who orders it and expects soap to be perfectly in tact? That's just stupid, go to the store and then it will be fine.
Not everyone lives near a Lush store.
if you bought from etsy like homemade stuff they wouldve been smarter and used bubblewrap instead of fckin peanuts
One of the workers got hungry.
my hungry ass could not work there 🗣️💥💥💥💥‼️
Lmao I remember going into a store and seeing a whole ass garlic in one of the facemask bowls. Weird as shit, and what made it worse was the cashier said he was so hungry and he wanted to eat it. Like SIR THAT IS A WHOLE GARLIC
I think this is a good time for other Bathbomb sellers/companies to advertise themselves honestly 👀
Dispute the charges with your bank
But why buy bath bombs worth hundreds? I literally don't understand why you would do that
Individually they aren’t hundreds of dollars, I think the amount of people buying adds up to be hundreds if not thousands of dollars
Bc people on this earth stupid and they will pay like 20 bucks just to get a bath boom that costed the company like 1 dollar

I work for lush and when I first started I secretly was wondering why tf the prices were so high and assumed it was for the reasons you just stated (standard big company exploitation) but after working there for a while now I can tell you there are actually quite a few reasons the products are as expensive as they are, if you want me to explain send a reply and I will👍
Ngl have never used their bath bombs, was anyways interested only in their soap
Just buy them in at the actual store if you don’t want them to arrive in shitty conditions. Or don’t buy them at all. Are they actually necessary? Can you live without them?
That's your solution?
being unhappy all the time causes a ton of health issues so yeah so-called "luxuries" like art, self-care, travel experiences, etc are actually vital to our health and the fact that USAmerican society teaches us that we don't deserve them is one of the reasons we're all so fucking unhealthy.
Why are you low key blaming the customer, they are right to expect their items in good condition.
Wrapped and put into smaller boxes would’ve been better, because then they wouldn’t break so much and it coming with smaller boxes and the wrapping around it would reduce damage.
