My 3rd Magicbullet just broke after having it for 3 years. Now I’m researching a replacement. The Ninja caught my attention, and it’s how I ended here. Great review.
Yeah, my 2nd Magic Bullet just died. The piece that spins the blade on the cup broke off. Lasted about 3 years. First one probably lasted 5 years? The first one broke because the cord got frayed. That was fun. Plugged it in, and heard a nice electrical pop. Yikes.
I've had the magic bullet for almost a decade and it does what I need it to do.

I've had my magic bullet for about 15yrs. I'm finally in the market for a new personal blender, and came across your comparison. 1 thing I didn't like about the magic bullet was the fact that not only did I have to stand and watch it, there is also a warning on it that says not to use continuously for more than 1 min. Ninja has so many personal blenders to choose from now. 🤦♀️
That’s so true! I will say I don’t think I’ve ever needed to blend longer than 30-45 seconds but having to stand and wait vs an automatic stop makes a big difference!
I have the Nutribullet 600 and the ninja in this video and I think the combo of the two are perfect. The ninja is the work horse and the 600 does my breakfast drink every morning.I used the ninja to make hummus yesterday.Thick gooey ingredients so the ninja didn’t hesitate.
I just started drinking smoothies every day. And I bought the magic bullet that promptly broke on the 4th day. So I am looking for something else to take its place. And maybe I would use it to do other things, if I had something that could.

Thank you for this. I am a fan of Ninja and I recently purchased this blender to take with me on my trip to Nicaragua. I do have a full size Ninja plus a Vitamix but I didn't want to take the big guns lol. I was iffy on the Magic Bullet since I saw a couple of videos that weren't to nice on the Magic Bullet. Do you mind sharing your experience with the Ninja after a few months? BTW thank you for the weight info because that's exactly why I bought it.(to take on a trip😊)
Lol totally get ya on the Vitamix, that’s absolutely the kahuna! I actually have continued to use my ninja since this video and my magic bullet is tucked away! Shocker but the Ninja can just handle so much more, I even can make fresh juice with it which I did a video on. I’m sure I can make the same with the bullet but it would be a smaller quantity so the ninja has just become more my go to. I’ve crossed over haha I definitely think you’ll get great use out of it on your trip!
Great video , which of the 2 is loudest ? I recently started drinking smoothies regularly and I own the full size ninja with the smoothie option, it is very loud , I am thinking of getting a dedicated smoothie blender but the noise will be a decisive factor for me since I don't want to wake up the whole house with my smoothie making, Thanx
The nutri blender pro is definitely louder. I do wish there were quieter ones but I’ve gotten used to it.
My second bullet only later 5 months. So I don't want a bullet anymore. But I'm stuck with Like 8 cups and lids. I'm looking for a different brand that I can still use my bullet cups with.
