Hi Mark, I need some good tires for this EREVO I have. What tires would you recommend. How about servos? I would need 2 servos that pull good torque numbers as well. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP!
Had that one .let it go. So i could go back to the 2.5r revo it is the one for me. Put 3.3 on it what a bassure.got my first one in 08 had one ever sent. them.😇
Great videos Mark. I’ve enjoyed watching and just subscribed. I bought that exact same model new a few years ago. Agreed the 3.3 sucks, is super inconsistent. Never ran it as much as I’d like to because it was frustrating. Considered an electric conversion but ended up with a Traxxas big block conversion kit with a Ninja engine that I got with another Rc purchase. It’s an awesome truck now, runs consistent and has much more power. That stupid 3.3 almost made me give up on nitro altogether.
Maybe you can help me out I just picked one up but the 3.3 it’s for bashing . I want a new remote and I’m thinking of getting the flysky gt-3c and I see it’s a 3 channel will it work?
Yea when Traxxas decided to pull out of Tower hobbies, that was a sad day. No More discounts. Im curious about Traxxas earnings before and after doing this. lol
How's it going I'm new to your channel and I came across this video do you have a link to that conversion I have a 3.3 looking to convert it to electric myself but can't seem to figure out or to find the right conversion and yours seems to be working great..
Nitro has its place, and that is 1995. If you want to bash. 4s and 6s are your tickets to fun days and broken rigs. That's what it's all about. Bash it break it, buy a mill and lathe and start making real rc parts that last. Steel and titanium are where it's at for bashing. Not selling them yet but I do full custom titanium and 304 stainless chassis for a variety of rigs.
with a 2 speed you need to convert it to a 1 speed so the gears won't simultaneously engage without the one way bearing. With the one way bearing you have no electric brakes or reverse. If you're fine without electric brakes, keeping the stock brake disc and servo, and electric reverse then you don't need to modify the transmission. The first gear will likely slow you down though since electric motors need load to draw current and produce torque.
The aluminum chassis is only nominally heavier than the plastic chassis. I'm just not a revo fan, it doesnt look like a monster truck. The wheels and tires are hideous. Low pro monster truck tires are not attractive. If you run a sensored motor you dont need a 2 speed. I run the summit with the 1700 T8 sensored on 6s. But I get the locking diffs . Same rig, much better set up as a summit with sensored motor. Add a real servo and your set. To each their own, cool to you ugly to me, we both rock rc.
I love Traxxas nitro content! Especially when it comes from a quality channel like yours!

In the process of doing one right now
Would it be better to get a Erevo? I have a basically brand new revo 3.3 with a brand new engine. It is already only forward only.

You can run that body and wheels on an e-revo along with the long travel rockers

You obviously don't have an Xmaxx
Why 😭

This video was true all the way up until he got a Maxx
Basher? Not durable, not fast, and really pricey. Great basher! U basically made a brushless summit. Cool car, but not worthy of the title given.
the nitro converted one, other than getting rpm arms and a couple other small things is much better than the current e revo
MrSupermugen, he literally can only run 3s in it, and it has diffs equal to or worse then the v1 revo!
