Apple recommends not to use any screen protector or mac guards. If you use screen protector and your screen gets damaged due to any reasons , it won't be covered by warrenty. laptop screen is not like a phone screens which you scrolls using your fingers, so no need for screen protector.

dont use case for macbook beacuse it puts weight on lid and over the period of time it will creat space between your lid and keyboard while closing the lid and also dont use keyboard cases same screen scratches will happen after this.
