I occasionally get fake cards in my store. They always ask me how do i know? My first response is to ask them where they got the cards from and how much did they pay? The majority of the fake cards are from the swap meets, flea markets, and ice cream trucks. You get a huge stack of them for $5 to $10 at those places.

Loving your videos. Im in the same area. Going to start vending shows. Just wondering what you do with bulk to resell it?. Also is 10k inventory good and how much cash should I bring for buying
We have a post video outlining what we do with the bulk we buy, we definitely recommend checking out that video. Inventory is all subjective as every person/business is different. That also goes along with the amount of cash you should bring when buying. We always recommend bringing what you are comfortable with and can afford.
Unfortunately this year's show schedule is filling up extremely quickly and it doesn't look like we're going to have a chance to make it out there in the near future. However, we are definitely looking into next year's events so hopefully we can visit and say hi to the Texas Pokemon Community!
It really sucks to break the news when the cards are fake. I personally have dealt with individuals trying to make trades and well, fakes. Sucks big time 😓😓😓😓

Fake cards should be treated like fake money confiscated on site lol. I find it hard to believe that adults get fooled by fake cards especially more pricey ones. I’ve dealt with it a couple times and it’s so obvious they know it’s fake
With experience and knowledge comes wisdom. There are a large amount of collectors and vendors entering the hobby that are completely new to the space, so it's completely possible there are folks that can't tell the difference. I've had fellow vendors who honestly wouldn't be able to tell if you handed them just a single fake card, but if you put it in a stack, they could tell the difference.
@@IntropyDR I understand and agree with hoping that is the case, but the reality is...I feel like that's the minority. Most people I reach out too being completely respectful and informative is so far 100% received by, an insult + block....or, "I know what I got, I know it's real" - block. If you know it's real why block me.
Wearing a mask and big hat to cover up, he knew damn well those cards were fake. I see this weekly at my card shop. They sometimes try to hide their identity like it matters and it makes them look even more suspicious lol. Definitely some of the dumbest criminals
It's completely possible, but we always try to give folks the benefit of the doubt and just educate in the event they honestly weren't aware that their cards are not authentic.
65% leaves us with a 10% margin profit after ebay takes their fees and shipping costs. Would love to discuss what percent you think we should pay and why.
