It's horrible to see him be pressured into this just so Jay can feel better. The truth is, he doesn't need any kind of legal rights over Lexi. Ben has plenty of support - he has Lexi's other dad, her step-dad/uncle and a bunch of grandparents. Acting like this is about what is best for Lexi is clearly not true - Jay never mentioned what was best for her once during his guilt-trip manipulation in the cafe. It's about him not being able to cope with the fact that Lola will be gone and he's trying to use Lexi as some sort of weird memorial to her. She's a kid who already has a dad and a dad2 that she adores. Jay muddying the waters is pointless.
I almost thought it was because he didn't have a kid with Lola because Lola had an abortion with his kid so he gets Lexi that's Ben's kid. I hope this is what's in the best interest of the child. And not I'm taking what I want from Ben. I wonder what Billy says about this if Lola has even said anythjng to him.
