I have driven my 2021 Vios XLE CVT several times at Tagaytay, and climbing up a 5-meter long 45-degree angle incline was manageable so far, even if the acceleration of the vehicle before approaching the uphill climb was below 2000rpm...the CVT will quickly adapt to terrain conditions and desired speed...
In going downhill with considerable distance, of course you can engage the manual transmission to ensure a steady and controlled speed without the need to apply the brakes too often...

I’m planning to buy a new vios but I am confused on which one to get. I am not an experienced driver 1.3 or 1.5 engine would be right for me?
Hello, either one would be good honestly since I believe it’s more about the skill of the driver which you’ll eventually learn through experience.
If you have extra on your budget, you’ll be having a peace of mind with the 1.5, but in terms of being practical or you have other things to spend your money with, 1.3 is more than enough and is a very wise decision.
wala nman po basihan yan sa experience mo. dun po yan sa mt or at. kung baguhan wala experience tad manual need mo talaga driving lessons kung at pwede na wala 1 week gamay mo na yan

Hello, I believe I was able to show it a bit in our previous Vios videos which I think you’re referring to the cup holders at the middle below the center AC.
If this is correct, there’s a little “ambient” light which comes with color blue, it was already on since we got the unit and as of now I didn’t see the need to find its switch. Certainly, Vios XLE has it at the center part and hindi sya masyadong kita, nagiging obvious lang once naglagay ka ng coffee or some objects.
