This winter I will fly from Sweden to Thailand via Dubai with Emirates! ARN- DXB will be operated by B773 and DXB- BKK will be an A388, so excited for the journey! (Will be the first time I fly with Emirates and the A388 too! Btw great video! I will also make a connection at terminal 3!

Great video thank you. So ! After you went through security, you went UP the esculator. At the top of the esculator is that the departure
lounge. I only ask because we have only got 1 hr. 20 mins. between arriving from London and flying out to Mauritius.
Yes you are right, after going through security, then you are good to go in the terminal building. Now you have to find where your departure gate is. Sometimes it's mentioned on your final destination boarding pass and even on some flights you would see the information on the infight entertainment system screen of your seat. Even if you don't know about your departure gate, then you must go to flight information desks which are located in every concourse or just check your flight number on the flight information screens in the concourse. I have always wanted to travel in Emirates flight since so long, and guess what I have a flight after a few days by Emirates transiting via Dubai and I couldn't be more happier. I'm 17 and this is going to be my first time travelling alone and in Dubai airport. I have learnt that Emirates flights are exclusively operated on terminal 3 of Dubai Airport.
I am not scared, and I am very eager to explore the Dubai airport. I have a doubt, can I travel between concourses A, B and C just for exploration sake? (My layover time is 3 hours)

I am glad to read that you are going to fly with Emirates. Yes Emirates flights are very comfortable and and you can also get 10 MB free in-flight WiFi (I am sure your flight will provide that service too).
You have 3 hours of layover but don't think it's too much. First of all you must find your departure gate if it's mentioned on your boarding pass, otherwise you have to go to information desk to confirm your exact departure gate in the terminal. After confirming your departure gate, you should check it before going anywhere.once you know where your gate is then see if you have enough time to explore the terminal ( concourse A,B,C....) Cause it takes too much time to walk from one concourse to an other.

Hello! I will be flying with emirates to Dubai airport next month, then getting a connecting flight with emirates to Hanoi, Vietnam! It says my flight is self transfer, does this mean I must collect my baggage when landing in Dubai and re-check it in for the connecting flight to Hanoi? Or will my baggage be transferred to the connecting flight and I will just collect it in Hanoi? Thanks
Hi friend, you don't have to collect your luggage at Dubai airport. Once you disembark your flight at Dubai airport, just go through the security screening and then to terminal. If you have your boarding passes with you then you should check if the boarding gates are mentioned on your boarding passes, if not then you must contact the information desk in the terminal, they will tell you about your boarding gate. what happens when you arrive in transit, do you just pass through security or is there another search you go through like customs etc?? we are travelling from Glasgow to Australia via Dubai and only have a 2hrs 10min layover until flight to Melbourne and the flight from Glasgow is always departing late by about an hour??
No, you just have to go through the first security once you disembark your flight and enter the terminal, then you are good to go and find your departure gate, so first of all you have to find your gate to know how far and how close your departure gate is.. you still have sometime to explore the terminal.... Someone coming from Georgia to India with connecting flight in Dubai, and with two different airlines. Do we get the luggage at Dubai and re check out luggage, or we get the luggage in final destination. Both flights are of different airlines

No, you can't go outside the airport terminal without a valid UAE visa and if you have a visa, then you can leave the airport and meet anyone in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. But you must keep in mind the duration of your connecting flight. If you are late to reach to your departure gate, your flight would leave you behind.So it's better to stay in the terminal rather than going outside the airport. Sorry for the late reply, one hour or 50 minutes is not enough to walk around, you must get to your gate immediately else you would miss your flight.

That's awesome, I have always wanted to go to Seychelles but haven't yet got any opportunity to go there. Dubai airport is a passenger friendly airport. after disembarking your flight going through security is the next step which is very easy and it doesn't take that long. After security you will be heading to the main terminal.
If you know your departure gate which should be mentioned on your boarding pass and if it's not mentioned then proceed to flight information desk or find any flight information display screen (there are so many display screens in the terminal) after confirming your departure gate, you are good to go to your gate. If you may need to use the automated People mover (train) inside the terminal if your departure gate is located in a different concourse. Anyways just don't be confused, I am sure you will make it perfectly, but just keep in mind that you don't have that much time to waste to move around, so just proced to your gate after disembarking. No, you don't have to go through immigration counters, because you are not leaving the terminal building or airport. But once you get off the plane you would definitely go through the security screening and it's a normal procedure. I hope you will have a wonderful flight. Stay safe and sound.

Of course you don't need a transit visa.. you just have to get off your plane get to the terminal building after going through the security. You don't have to go to immigration counter. I am travelling from Delhi to Toronto on 12-Aug. My first flight is Air India from Delhi to Dubai with layover of 5 hour 10 mins layover. Second flight is Emirates from Dubai to Toronto. Both flight have different pnr numbers .Do I need transit visa for the same?

Well,in this case I can't say anything, since you have a different flight and you would be using a different concourse or terminal building. Air India will land you at Dubai Airport Terminal 1 while Emirates operates from Terminal 3. These 2 terminals are not interconnected. I don't have the latest information whether your final destination flight ✈️ operator would make an arrangement to pick you up from Terminal 1 to shift you to terminal 3 building. You must confirm your airline before you travel.

Your luggage will be transported automatically to the plane going to the next destination. And you don’t need to go through immigration unless your leaving the airport.

Thanks for watching the video, you mean you will be flying with FlyDubai airline and then your connecting flight will Emirates... Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 are located in different location as Terminal 2 is for low cost airlines. I have never done that before, but I guess once you land and get to Terminal 2, you will have to contact FlyDubai ground staff and they will transfer you to Terminal 3 by Van, cause it's far...and you can't walk to terminal 3.
Once you get to terminal 3, you will have to go through security and then you will have to find your boarding gate and in the same way if you are fly with Emirates and FlyDubai is your connecting flight then you will disembark at Terminal 3 and then you will have to contact Emirates ground staff and they will guide you and transfer you to terminal 2.

Well, you needn't to be worried about the distance from one gate to an other departure gate. There are automatic trains within the terminal building which would help you to get to every corner of the airport building. I am sure and I you are going to have a wonderful journey. Just remember the concourse and try to get there first and once you know your departure gate then you could explore the airport..

You don't need a bus to go to an other terminal. If you are flying with Emirates then you don't need to change the terminal. Terminal 2 is for Flydubai, some flydubai flights also operates from Terminal 2, you don't have to go to Terminal 2 from Terminal 3. It should be either terminal 2 or 3.

How do you get from terminal 3 to terminal 1???
There is no way from inside the terminal 3 to terminal 1 from inside the terminal 3 but outside the terminal or airport building you can take the metro to get to either Terminal 3 or Terminal 1. And there is no direct connection between these 2 terminals.
Were we will get the baggage
It depends whether your final destination is Dubai or somewhere else.... so if you have a connecting flight and your final destination is some other country then you are going to get your luggage or baggage in that country not at Dubai airport.. you just get your boarding pass and search for your boarding gate and wait for your flight. What mean passengers with boarding pass & passengers without boarding pass ? 3:00
That means there are passengers with different destinations flying with the same airlines, sometimes the airlines issue 2 boarding passes one to the airline's hub (the airport of the country where the airline belong) Like if you are flying with Emirates from Muscat to Bangkok Thailand. Most probably you would be issued 2 boarding passes.
One from Muscat to Dubai and other one from Dubai to Bangkok. In case you don't get your Dubai to Bangkok flight, you would get it from Dubai airport. I am sure you will find it helpful. Please subscribe to my channel to watch my latest travel Vlogs.

Well, Dubai Airport Terminal 3 is such a huge terminal building that one would love to explore every part of it. Since I had long departure time, I had no other better way to spend it exploring the the whole terminal building 😄

It's going to be Okay, just don't worry about it. After disembarking your flight to Dubai, go through security and then look for your departure gate. A few months ago I had a flight from Sydney to Heathrow connecting via Dubai, my first flight was delayed so I only had 15 mins to change flights but the staff kindly held the aircraft for 10 mins and was fast tracked through the process

Security crew at the screening check are thiefs . As many passengers have lost their gold ornanents at the security check. They tell us to remove gold and put it for sreening . By the time the passenger comes back from personal check up to take his or her belongings the gold bangels are removed and they say they dnt know. Very dissapointing. Dubai airport is not safe fr transit passengers. Shame as they always fail to investigate their staff. As the staff itself are thieves.
