Just wanted to say a big thankyou, I haven't knitted for years, but always crochet. Your video's inspired me to get my needles out and now I can't stop! They are absolutely lovely, clear and simple instructions and just perfect for knitting while watching TV! Thank you :) xx
Hi Laurelin, beautiful blanket and perfect to be called Robin. I've got 2 Robins nesting in our hedge. It's so lovely to see them. Thank you for sharing your tutorial 😊
Gauge really isn’t important as long as it remains consistent - you might get a slight variation in size based on tension but as it’s a blanket I really wouldn’t worry.
Hello! Love the video and excited to try this out. As a beginning knitter, could you help me understand the 10 +4 but you used 132 cast on stitches? Wouldn't that be 10 +2? Sorry I'm VERY new and also not the best with math lol.
I’d use the needle size the ballband recommends, and you’d need to adjust your cast on to get the right width, you’d need to cast on more than I did though.

Love this pattern., thank you....any guidance on the gauge?

The moment I started knitting the Toby blanket I see this 😭😭 I wish I knitted this one instead I guess I'll knit this one next
Oh no! I'm sure you'll enjoy knitting Toby though, he's one of my favourites.

The 10+4 is just for the middle panel, you then need to add the 18 stitches that make up the side borders (9 for each side) Hope that helps :)
Can you use 4 ply yarn and what size needles wouldyou use? How many stitces would you cast on with 4 ply yarn?
I’d use the needle size the ballband recommends, and you’d need to adjust your cast on to get the right width, you’d need to cast on more than I did though.
Ok thank you.
How many yards in a meter.
I honestly don’t know, I only use metric measurements but google may know.
