Today we take a look at the USS Sobieski.
This ship is very similar to the Connie Refit Refit (USS Resurrection).
It is armed with Advanced Phasers and has Quantum Torpedoes.
Is it a match for the Resurrection?
Played from both sides in Star Trek Bridge Commander Remastered.

I disagree. This is all just fan art. The connie was never this powerful. A connie with quantums? I mean why stop there. Just give it the firepower of the Enterprise J. Cause why not

🙂 U.S.S. SOBIESKI, needs a lot more work on her shields, advanced quantum torpedoes with the advanced acoustic (starfleet version) capability to search for and destroy far away targets. 🙂 Her phaser weaponry can do with some more upgrades as well.
😲Gosh Admiral.. that ship looks amazing.. love the textures and armor I think and look of the ship.. wow.. very nice.. I do like them both.. if the Connie Refit Refit didn't have those advanced quantums.. think would be even.. I would say.. still great ship.. and Imagine if Kirk and the gang would have had that ship.. wow.. lol. I like the look of both and well just with those Bleu quantums.. changes things.. still great battle Admiral.. the last battle eeh the Connie Refit Refit.. those windows in the front is that the bar or, cause was missing eeh no drinks today lol. just saying.!!!😊🖖

The first time you blew up right before when Brex said, "Tractor beam has been disabled" and I saw how much of the ship was missing in that area I chuckled and said, "You think?"
Yeah the clear winner is definitely the Connie Refit Refit. Those advance quantum's are just devastating.
For the USS Sobieski, I REALLY like that design. I will agree it's very hard to choose which one looks better. I think for ME they both tie into which one looks better. I really dig both ships.
Your initial tactics of staying at a distance was good but you abandoned it at the end of the battle and ate all incoming advanced quantum torpedos

Trying to decide between these two ships on how they look? Connie Refit Refit, but it is close. I was definitely rooting for the Connie in those battles and I'm happy she defended her honour successfully.
To me, I see the Connie Refit Refit as like an original Constitution that's just had so many refits over the years. The Sobieski seems more like a new build ship with design inspiration from the Connie and Sovereign.
Sobieski looks great. I really like how sleek the star drive section looks around the shuttle bay and nacelles.
I think the nacelles on the Sobieski look just a bit too big, proportionally to the rest of the ship. The Sovereign shape and the armoured up Bussard collectors look great, I just think the nacelles look a bit too tall, too long and too fat for how meaty the rest of the ship is.
That aside, Sobieski looks gorgeous. I like the idea that Starfleet used Sovereign inspired designs on other ships, like how they used Galaxy parts for the Nebula, and the New Orleans was a baby Galaxy.
Instead of the letters for the various Enterprise designs, I think it would have been better to go with numbers, i.e., 1702, 1703, etc. This design would be great as the 3rd design of the 17th Ship of the Constitution Class, with the Connie Refit Refit as the 2nd design. Just my two cents... Thanks for the video!
Those advanced quantum torpedoes only seem to hit up close-medium range and with minimal target transversal.
Odd name for a ship, although actress Lee Lee Sobieski was popular about 20 years ago.
I Googled the name of the ship it's most likely the first result
"John III Sobieski was King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania from 1674 until his death in 1696. "
The second result was the actress.

Sobieski was trying to ram at the last few seconds, i saw it taking ramming speed.
USS Sobieski for me, like a mix of Ambasidor Class, Excelsior Class, and protype nacelles for the Sovern class. Proably would have been a fair fight with the ship that just won't be retired. If not for the semi-BS new "Advanced" quantum. I mean two or three shotting a ship sort of negates the point of a fight. Fun video regardless, keep up the impressive work.

Sobieski looks like a good design and I would imagine if it had advanced quantums it would hold it's own against the Resurrection. As for Resurrection I think it would look great with Sobieski's warp nacelles. The 23rd Century nacelles, even if they are refitted, looks too outdated for a 25th century modded ship.
According to the DS9 Technical Manual quantum torpedoes are supposed to be at least twice as powerful as photon torpedoes at 50 isotons compared to the latter's theoretical limit of 25 isotons. I dread to think what kind of yield advanced quantum torpedoes are supposed to have.
0:25 Did you notice the Starfleet logo there on the bottom of the secondary hull's hangar bay?
Actually all fed photon torps are variable to 300 megatons. Quantums are zero point energy, basically it rip subspace into enemy ship massively more than 2 times reg torps. Tricobalt are 1.5 teratons, transphesic torps can 1 shot Borg cubes so that's in the petaton range or more. Strek especially late 24th to early 25th would kick stargate, star wars, B5, enemies not easy but would win.
In Voyager I remember thay sometimes increased the isoton yield of a torpedoes one example i remember is in
Omega Directive.
When they're adding a gravimetric charge to a torpedo thay say:
"TUVOK: Calibration complete. Phase modulator. Detonator circuits?
KIM: On standby.
TUVOK: We're ready to load the gravimetric charge.
KIM: This looks like enough for a fifty isoton explosion.
TUVOK: Fifty four, to be exact.
KIM: What are we planning to do, blow up a small planet?
TUVOK: I don't know.
KIM: This warhead isn't standard issue. Who designed it, the captain?
JANEWAY: Mister Kim, you ask too many questions. Change of plans, gentlemen. Increase the charge to eighty isotons.
TUVOK: Aye, Captain."
I also noticed the Delta on the bottom of that ship.

3. A battle with fighters: (23rd century) federation fighter/
(DS9) Federation attack fighter /(ST invasion) Valkyrie fighter.
Stargate Atlantis:
1. See how many Wraith cruisers it takes to destroy a Wraith hive ship.
2 puddle jumper & Daedalus-class battlecruiser class (the version that only has rail guns and missiles) vs puddle jupper & ancient warship.
3 Wraith hive ship & puddle jumper vs Wraith hive ship.
Other Battles 1. Star Wars Empire is invaded and has to fight the shadows from B5.
2. Babylon 5 Earth Alliance ships vs Andromeda.
3. I would like to see these 7 Starfleet ships defend DS9:
Galaxy class, Excelsior, Nebula,Yeager,Defiant,Steamrunner,Sabre. Vs powerful weapons like: drones,transphasic torpedoes, Shadows,Wraith hive,ori.

I dont remember seeing the Sobieski, but from the looks of it, I think Bones also kitbashed that one abd did the textures. Dont quote me on that, i could be wrong.
As for the Resurrection, I've been working on the old girl all day yesterday, learning how to use various tools in new versions of Max, on reducing poly count without destroying the model. My old ship went on a diet, shedding 9k polygons! Im wondering if that'll be enough to get her running in SFC3. I really don't want to rebuild her major components.
Oh, and ive also been working on another old WIP......

But from what I do know... the Connie was one of the best Federation designs before the Excelsior class. The Connie refit that I glanced at probably has a good chance.
