Very good content ! You almost got me but i was thinking about the question mark after " The biggest failure of my career?" I enjoy all of them !
love the sentiment in the video. I have been feeling a slight tug to learn a new trade or business. not to turn away from tree work but to mix it up and not have to make it all the way to the moon just on tree work. good stuff man. happy for ya, brother!
Thanks Shane! I've noticed that I enjoy my work more when it's not the same everyday. I've also noticed that my skills start to suffer a little too though when I'm not doing the same thing all the time.
Whoa! You got me on this one. I thought "Wow, ole Zach seems to have gotten a lot bolder than I remember". Hey, good job, once again. I wish you well in your new endeavors. I look forward to excavation videos. Watching people digging, climbing and cutting is kinda mesmerizing to me. Thank you for showing us your work.
Haha, I'm not that brave. There are definitely climbers out there that can free fall bigger pieces into smaller spaces. I'd much rather put a rope on it and remove the risk, but rigging definitely takes longer 🤷♂️ thanks for being such a suppprter of the channel!
Story time: Had a customer several years back- excavator company charged with removing trees and old lake house to prep for new construction. Part of our job was to cut the trees into pieces that the track hoe could load into a roll off. One tree was on a cliff face behind the house to be removed. The contractor gave me permission to drop the tree on the house, which I was excited to do. It was probably 36” or so. I dropped that sucker on the house and plowed a trough down the middle of the structure. High-fives were had by all… until I had to go in there and cut it into pieces. There was so much rebar and broken glass and twisted metal and rusty nails that I swore I wouldn’t do it again. I could’ve landed in the hospital for that stunt. Couple years later we had a “drop it on the house- I’m tearing it down anyway” type of thing. I decided not to. It was a 90’ plus codom which I threaded perfectly with soon-to-be-demolished house on the outside, privet and underbrush between the legs, and power line on the other side. No one ever gets video of my trickier fells. Only time I MIGHT consider dropping on a structure is if I don’t have to go in to cut it up, and if no one is watching.
I know what you mean. I cringe everytime I see someone cut a house in half with a tree. It's like taking a regular tree job and turning it into a storm damage job. Sound like fun, but always bit you in the end. Thanks for sharing your story!
Go big or go home right but sometimes go big will get you killed or hurt you know I love your channel man been a subscriber. almost day one sad to see you put tree work behind you but hey, you got to do what’s right for you and your life and what makes you happy and what makes you money God bless Zack. Thank you Bill. I've always appreciated your questions and comments in the comment section. Don't worry though, I'll still be posting tree videos, there just might be an excavator video or two that gets mixed in when I don't have a tree job to film. And on your thought if go big or go home- I rarely free call big limbs like this which is why the first two went so poorly. I really didn't enjoy it as much as one would expect to 😅
@@zaccheus yeah I understand buddy definitely I like to cut big too but sometimes it goes wrong in a hurry as we know God bless I’ll see you on the next one buddy I hope all goes well
Yes indeed! I like it because it fits in my wedge bag with all my wedges and is easy to grab all at once. Occasionally I'll break out an axe if there is a lot of swinging, but I use that mini sledge most of the time
Heavy machinery, machinery repair, trains and tree work are my main subscriptions. I'll stick around for the transition! Also, Zach Rigs would have been a baller channel name for the tree work, kind of a play on words.
Oh, Zach you scared me. Child when the tree hit the carport , I said to myself,"Oh ,Know"😭😞.You got me .😊😂 I will continue to watch you in what ever you do.As I have said before you make my days feel happy and sirine watching my knew friend .And I am sure with the excavation business I'll enjoy that as well .What ever name you use ,Ill find you and continue with you ❣️😊 Be safe and have a great day,ur friend from Indiana 😉😀
I feel lucky that you shared your tree career with us. Hate to see do less tree work, but you need to follow your own path. I like the current name, but I'll follow along with whichever direction you choose.
Man I hit my first roof last week. Very minimal damage but I was beating myself up a bit over it. Then I saw this and thought, "well, Zach messes up too". But then you were just trolling so, now I'm not sure how to feel. Ha.
Lol, I've had my fair share of mistakes too. It's a part of the job, nobody has a perfect record. The important thing is to use that experience as a learning tool to help you avoid a similar experience in the future. All education costs something.
I thought you are way too good to make a terrible judgment call like that. Loved watching your videos and was a tremendous help when I climbed. Bless ya buddy
Haha, even if I did make a serious mistake I would post it for others to see and learn from. Best for them to learn it from me than having to have the experience themselves 😅
Haha, it was definitely an experience 😂 I've lost count of how many times I've been up in a tree and considered the power I have to cut a lead off a wreck a building.
@@zaccheus you know how in tree videos you usually don't have enough perspective from watching it on UA-cam to make a better call than the guy who took the footage? That thought just barely had enough time to go through my head before you dumped that branch on the roof 😂 it was perfect 👌
Sorry to see you leave the tree work behind. I enjoy your channel, one of the few good ones out there. Good luck with your new business, sure you'll be just fine.
Thanks man! I won't ever leave tree work completely. I'll still be posting tree videos. I just might have to sneak an excavator video in here and there to fill the gaps during the busy season.
I am in the same place, ran my own business for 2 years but run slowed down so i went back to pipe fitting, and doing tree work on the side , really enjoy you videos!! and have always like the name of your channel.
Thanks man! I imagine you can relate to enjoying the work more when it's only part time then? I noticed that the most when I started to dial things back a little.
Yes don’t really like the business side of things, just really enjoy climbing, will definitely continue to watch your videos no matter what you make because I like you and your personality
@redbeardtree1858 Thanks, man! I can relate to that too. I'm not naturally gifted at selling things and there is a lot of sales work when you own a small tree service.
@redbeardtree1858 Absolutely! Excavating is a little easier for me to sell. The estimates are all math and I don't have to feel bad about the number the math produces 🤷♂️
My question is, where the heck do you keep finding completely solid trees to climb and take down? Around here where I’m at there’s so many half dead maples that I’m cutting I couldn’t climb even half of em safely.
Haha, I've got my share of sketchy climbs on this channel. It comes in waves. Sometimes I'll go almost all season without a hazard tree. Other times it seems like they all trying to kill me 😂 I've gotten less interested in taking unnecessary risks too. If it's not safe and I can't get a lift in there, I'm happy to let someone else with bigg equioment handle it 🤷♂️
Good luck with the new business journey, I’ll definitely keep watching! Interested in the saw lanyard material? I’m in the same boat as you, I hate the other saw lanyards
Thanks man! The saw lanyard I have there is the jacket off of some double braid climbing rope with a piece of elastice run through it. I then used a couple of small biners on the ends. The one that hooks the harness to my saddle has a break strength of 4 kn, which is more than I prefer, but it's still not crazy high.
My friend sorry to hear that you're getting out of the tree business. I learned a lot from you.. over the years ..That was pretty cool.. falling that big stick right across the garage port.....😊.. Good luck my brother in the excavating business..
Thanks, man! I won't quot making tree videos. I still have a whole list of subject specific videos that I want to make when work slows down in the winter time. All things I've been learning about this season in particular. Thank you for your well wishes, I really appreciate the support!
Lol. Good lord man. Ya got me. Gotta say them first 2 cut, eeeeek. Gonna give me nightmares. Good show man. I drop big trees that most dont want to in my neighborhood. Most are safe from hitting anything.
It's a little bit different for trees and excavator work. I've had really good success with yard signs and Google business profile for tree work and I've found that networking and knowing the right people has been much better for getting excavation work. This particular job, an old customer recommended me for the demo and when I heard the tree needed to come down I volunteered for it.
Whenever I’m chipping into a container I’ll open the door and position the chipper to chip through the door. Couple sheets of plywood over the top of the opposite end to stop the chips from flying out and you can get it pretty well filled up.
That's an excellent thought! I think I'll still try that on bigger jobs where I can get things set up like that. There just wasn't enough room to get the chipper behind the container on this one. It was a real challenge to eve get the chipper in there beside it without the truck getting stuck on the wet grass that covered the driveway 🙄
Zacch! I was wondering about what you were up to - I never seen you so haphazard about your work! When you tackled that limb on the carport, I had exactly the same feeling as if I were doing it, and I said no way I'm doing this. I was floored when it hit the carport - until you explained the situation. When I was climbing, I always took the bull rope up with me - all I needed on the ground was a guy to undo the biner. I used the trunk and crotches close by for brakes - worked great, and did it for 18 years. Then again, I did everything differently - never took any courses or lessons.
@@RobOnBusiness I was just trying to have some fun with the audience 😅 I started out with no formal education either. It took me a little while, but I learned that there was a lot of value in studying other people’s ideas and relying on thinking other than my own. Even just reading through the ANSI book really opened my eyes to a lot of stuff that I was doing wrong.
@ Yes - I used to enjoy watching other guys at work, and picking up ideas from them. Also picked up the forestry handbook on knots. Mainly used the buntline hitch and Blake's hitch for tying in.
@gamingisthewaytogful Haha thanks for having good faith in me! You're right, I would never ever depend on a hinge to move a branch that far to the side. Thanks for sharing that. I'm torn because I have some youtuber friends that tell me it would benefit me to change the name while the channel is still fairly small. Yet others have shared similar things to what you have said.
I can offer someone I think is a *GREAT, GUY, ARBORIST and many other vocations* and that is *AUGUST HUNICKE* with some really fantastic UA-cam videos/camera work! You did a good job on this one and that was NOT a little tree and NO ONE GOT HURT! Thanks!
Zack I enjoy your videos no matter what you guys are doing . I have 3 kids that are your age in there upper 20’s I am in my upper 50’s and I clearly know how you feel about what you want to do with your life . Follow your dreams and feelings and just focus on what matters most to you and your family . Ken from New York
Wow, thanks Ken, I really appreciate that encouragement. It's hard to follow your heart sometimes, but I think it'll keep the content most interesting if I focus on the things I'm learning in my life as I'm going through it. Thanks again 😊
@@zaccheus my dad told me that your health is your wealth and he was so right about that . As we get older we have to work more smart and safe . I love seeing all you tree guys just sending it but there comes a time in our lives that we have to push things that we love to the side and fallow our path that the big guy has for us . God bless you and your family in Jesus’s name amen
@kennethmcgovern3137 That's a perspective I have not heard before. I like it and I'll have to ponder it for a little bit. Thanks for your support and for sharing your thoughts and ideas!
Thanks for sharing man! I'd be interested in hearing about how you went from one trade to the other. That's not a switch I would have expected ti hear about.
@zaccheus not really a switch I do both but more tree care geard right now. My grandfather did tree work my dad after serving in Vietnam started a logging company then moved into residential tree work. So I went to work with my dad from before I could talk. Got my fist spikes when I was 4 fist stihl chainsaw at 7 and was running backhoes and other equipment at the same age. When I started finding my own way I ended up working for an excavation contractor I absolutely love running equipment but it took me away from my kids. So started my own business and it was most cost effective to start with tree work but it quickly grew into a passion of mine. Long story short I love both lol.
@facelesspsycho8252 Yhat's awesome man! I'm in a similar boat that I've wanted to have my own excavation business longer than I've had the tree business, but buying chainsaws and ropes was way easier than buying excavating equipment 😅
@facelesspsycho8252 You're absolutely right. I learned the basics of structural pruning from a library book if I recall correctly. Tree work is a fantastic starter/side business for so many reasons
I’m kinda in a similar situation. I had a mobile welding service for a while then accidentally started the tree service. I still like welding though. It’s way harder to run the welding business aspect of things though. Tree businesses seem way easier to run. At least around here.
Tree businesses are easy start ups for sure. There isn't much red tape and most of the time you don't have to worry about permits and such. Some big municipalities are a little different. The hard part about tree business are keeping people safe and productive on a level that productive and has minimal risk involved. Its certainly possible, but being competitive and safe seems to be quite the challenge around here.
@@zaccheus yes. I can see that being a problem depending on where your at. Some areas probably have too many treee services already. Some of which are doing jobs for next to nothing. One of those guys in my area just recently put a tree through a house that wasn’t supposed to be demolished. I work alone so production isn’t my biggest worry. I just try to be safe and focus on customer service. That’s what got me into trees to begin with. The lack of customer service by a couple of the other tree services. I hope excavating works out for ya, you did teach me a bunch about tree climbing just by posting your work on here. I saw you climb a super dead tree in someone’s backyard and that gave me the confidence to climb my neighbors super dead tree. Although I was tied in to another kinda next to it. My biggest advice I could give you as someone who is also doing two seemingly unrealated businesses is, when you purchase new equipment for one try to get something you can use for both. For example instead of a bucket truck with chip box, I Just bought a haulotte lift for the trees but also for welding on grain bins. I shoot chips into a dump trailer but also use it for hauling skid steers, bigger fabrications, sticks of steel, and scrap metal. That mini excavator you got would be a huge asset for tree work and for excavating. Heck yeah.
@scrapmanindustries thays awesome man! I'm glad the content had been helpful for you. And thats excellent advice. I'm hoping to update my dump truck to a roll off truck some day so I can switch du.p bed out for a chip bed, salt spread, etc. It all comes with time. Keep you eye out, there might be a new machine making its way to the channel soon 🤷♂️😉
Zach, I thought you were going to have to buy the homeowner a new carport roof. Great stunt!!! ha ha. You will be happier in excavation work rather than up in trees. Continued blessings to you.
Haha, that experience had me thinking about what it would be like to have to buy a roof for someone. I didn't like the feeling at all. I think I'll enjoy a mix of both the most. If I sit a machine for more than a couple days I get stir crazy and can't wait to get out. Hopefully the channel will survive well with a little bit of both
Well I also will admit you got me. thought to myself there's no way you're better than that and I never really saw the excavator until you pointed it out. It's hidden pretty well. yeah it's sad to see you step away from full time tree work but I totally understand. Over my many years I've lost younger coworkers and I always told them don't look back, you have to what you feel is right for you and your family. Best of luck in your new business, I'll still be a subscriber. Best of luck and God Bless.
Thanks for having faith in me Clell! Thank you for understanding but don't forget that I'll still be making tree work content and I'll just be slipping excavator videos in here and there. I have a whole list of videos I want to make when worl slows down this winter.
I'd do similar, if I ever break away from engineering. My boys and I can do tree work as a secondary service. The main will be crane and rigging work. Fun video you have here.
For sure man, there is a lot of money out there for crane work. We have a local crane guy or two that pretty much keep busy just working for tree services 🤷♂️
Haha, believe it or not, I do not share names with the short tax collector Jesus stopped to visit. I did, however, name my tree service after that man back in the day.
Hahaa, oh noo. I'm sorry I had you going that long 😅 it was so hard to act for that long after it fell. I'm definitely not good at false representation 😅
6:00 You can actually cut from the top down into the branch collar, where the left side of your lanyard is (obviously moving it) and it will peel or rip down the limb kinda like your first cut, then just sever it. Go fast however, to prevent a barber chair like your second cut. It's an unpredictable cut so make sure you have no avoidables around and you are in a safe working position. It's a bit of the dark arts to get a branch to fold under you.
Thanks for that tip! I almost never free fall big, heavy branches, and I think it shows on those first two 😅 The biggest thing I was trying to avoid was having them hit tips first and then fall over in whatever direction they want to go.
I don't know what you're doing with those wedges there but if you spread out your wedges and use more than one it'll spread the load and won't split out the tree like that. It's good to see a younger generation learning the trade but got a lot to learn kid keep on cutting.
I explained why the wood wanted to separate like that. Grain structure in the root flare is different than the straight grain of the trunk wood. It reacts to compressive forces differently, which is why it wanted to delaminate. Use of multiple wedges helps alleviate the load on each wedge. So appropriate course of action was to add more wedged to the cut as I did. I'm not sure I see the point of this comment.
@@zaccheus if you end up using a tracked mini skid, I'd really appreciate a good video covering tips and tricks on it. Can't find any good videos on them!
@MrJoeylama I don't have a ton of experience on one because I've only ever rented them or ran them on my friends' jobs, but I'll see if I can get a buddy to let me film his amd talk about what he has learned on it.
Yeah, I'll try to remember to get that in the next tree video I film. It's super simple. It's just the jacket from some double braid 24 strand climbing rope with a piece of elastic inside. Then I used an XSRE carabiner as a weak link to make sure it doesn't take me down if something ever goes wrong.
Felling the branch and the trunk into the car port was a nice touch. I am a little curious why you didn't go for the "garage" at the back of the car port? Re your semi departure from Arborist work, I'll miss watching your climbing video's but if you want to post digger jobs I'll still watch. It is a bit of a shame though as I think you're one of the safer and more technical tree surgions on UA-cam. Locking forward to that house demo 😊👍👍👍👍
Thanks! I just wanted to get as much of the trunk into the building as I could so I took the shortest path to it. I supposed hitting the enclosed portion would have probably had a little more dramatic effect now that you mention it. That's mighty kind of you to say. I've been trying a lot harder to make a good example of safe work in my videos. There are definitely too many cases of seemingly justified dangerous work presented in videos out there.
My arborist's crew damaged my carport because they only had a guy holding a line doubled around another tree instead of using a pulley and their truck to provide tension. When the boss showed up, they did it right.
Before watching, I'm guessing the failure is going to be not crushing it enough. I've had similar requests over the years, it's hard to crush structures, especially intentionally
You're right on! I thought for sure that big, heavy limb would cut that building in half. It definitely didn't. Those 2x4 covered in plywood are pretty dang, strong!

Don't worry though, I'll still be posting tree videos, there just might be an excavator video or two that gets mixed in when I don't have a tree job to film. And on your thought if go big or go home- I rarely free call big limbs like this which is why the first two went so poorly. I really didn't enjoy it as much as one would expect to 😅
@@zaccheus yeah I understand buddy definitely I like to cut big too but sometimes it goes wrong in a hurry as we know God bless I’ll see you on the next one buddy I hope all goes well
Were you swinging an estwing fireside friend? I love that thing.
Yes indeed! I like it because it fits in my wedge bag with all my wedges and is easy to grab all at once. Occasionally I'll break out an axe if there is a lot of swinging, but I use that mini sledge most of the time
I have 3 of them, even after gifting 2 to friends, Lol. Great for kindling/smaller splitting.
Awesome tool
Heavy machinery, machinery repair, trains and tree work are my main subscriptions. I'll stick around for the transition!
Also, Zach Rigs would have been a baller channel name for the tree work, kind of a play on words.
You got me. 😂 I was like no no no you need to rig that! Then your like the mini is over there 😑
Haha, rigging would have absolutely been the only appropriate solution if we were actually trying to avoid the building 😅
haha, great video!
i'll miss watching you fell trees, but hopefully you make some excavating videos for us.
Thanks! I'll be doing a little bit of both!
Keep it up! Had me scared for a minute there!
Haha thanks!
Geesh you snookered me good, son!! Best of luck as you head down a new path!👍
Haha thanks!
Good one, you got us. I didn't think the side cut would make it clear the carport and was thinking he's crazy, that's not going to work.
One of the nicer/better ones. I’ve personally learned a lot since watching and practicing. So thank you
Thanks man! I really appreciate your support and I'm thrilled to hear that the videos have been helpful for you.
i knew there was gonna be a twist, i did not expect "gotta rip the building down anyway" was the twist haha
Haha thanks for having faith in me 😂 I figured this would be a perfect job for a fun video when I got it
Hate to hear you’re stepping back from the trees. Glad you’re finding a different path. Happy for you and as always, stay safe.
Thanks man, I'll still make tree content. I have a bunch of stuff I'd like to share here yet.
I feel lucky that you shared your tree career with us. Hate to see do less tree work, but you need to follow your own path.
I like the current name, but I'll follow along with whichever direction you choose.
Thanks Kevin! Everyone seems to really like the name, so maybe it'll stay 🤷♂️
Man I hit my first roof last week. Very minimal damage but I was beating myself up a bit over it. Then I saw this and thought, "well, Zach messes up too". But then you were just trolling so, now I'm not sure how to feel. Ha.
I took down a service line one time. Mistakes happen. Don't ever beat yourself up over them.
Haha thanks Eric!
It's all good ! Bring it on... I'll be watching !
Look at that sawdust go WHIZZING off away from that lake!🌬🪵
Haha, it was dang windy that day. I'm suprised the audio came out as well as it did.
You made my jaw drop lol. I was thinking, wow. I can't believe he posted that whoopsie. I worked every day this week doing tree removals and prunings.
Haha, even if I did make a serious mistake I would post it for others to see and learn from. Best for them to learn it from me than having to have the experience themselves 😅
@@zaccheus you're a good man.
lol!! the last 10 secons was like watching Nate drop a tree! I look forward to the demo video.
Hahaha, Nate just needs a little practice 🤷♂️😂
@@zaccheus Nate does good, I was just checking to see if he reads your comments lol..
😂😂 He does do pretty good and he is humble enough to take advice on the matter. That's more important than actually skill half of the time.
Bro I was looking at that limb and was thinking that sucker is gonna break off I was like that's not gonna be cheap 😂😂😂
Hahaha no, it wouldn't have been 😂
Zack letting his intrusive thoughts win and sending trees into buildings ahaha. I'm very jealous
Haha, it was definitely an experience 😂 I've lost count of how many times I've been up in a tree and considered the power I have to cut a lead off a wreck a building.
I so thought that was planned from the jump lol, you sounded to confident in the side notch, like you knew it was supposed to hit the house lol
Haha, acting is definitely not my forte, but I gave it my best effort 😅
Click bait got me. Glad to hear you got a solid plan. Appreciate all the content. Keep climbing.
Yeah dude well played you had me going -- I was yelling at you not to do it 😂 DUDE NO! WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THE WIND WILL TAKE IT!? Hahahahaha
Hahahaaaa, I was tired coming up with the wildest reasoning that was unbelievable. 😅
@@zaccheus you know how in tree videos you usually don't have enough perspective from watching it on UA-cam to make a better call than the guy who took the footage? That thought just barely had enough time to go through my head before you dumped that branch on the roof 😂 it was perfect 👌
@corygrossman1 haha yeah I can relate to that 😅 thays awesome, I'm glad it worked out so well.
Yikes, man! That shit can happen to anybody. Be safe in whatever you do, brotha 🤙🫡
Just watched and realized you did it on purpose, lol. I had to skip ahead to the damage 😆
Hahaha, can't blame you for that 😂
Cool video man. I am looking forward to your demo content
It should be ready tomorrow!
Same here, never really liked talking to people lol and always felt like I was charging too much even though I was under most every one else
Fun! Always wanted to do that.
Had a couple close scares unintentionally!
Haha everyone has a couple scares in their background.
You got me in the first half 😂

Lol. Good lord man. Ya got me. Gotta say them first 2 cut, eeeeek. Gonna give me nightmares. Good show man.
I drop big trees that most dont want to in my neighborhood. Most are safe from hitting anything.
Haha, I was not a fan of those first two cuts either 😅 I'd be happy with never repeating those again.
How do you get into that line of work how do you promote yourself ? Is it demolition work?
It's a little bit different for trees and excavator work. I've had really good success with yard signs and Google business profile for tree work and I've found that networking and knowing the right people has been much better for getting excavation work. This particular job, an old customer recommended me for the demo and when I heard the tree needed to come down I volunteered for it.
Can you please let me know what your lanyard for your chainsaw is cheers

@@RobOnBusiness I was just trying to have some fun with the audience 😅
I started out with no formal education either. It took me a little while, but I learned that there was a lot of value in studying other people’s ideas and relying on thinking other than my own. Even just reading through the ANSI book really opened my eyes to a lot of stuff that I was doing wrong.
@
Yes - I used to enjoy watching other guys at work, and picking up ideas from them. Also picked up the forestry handbook on knots. Mainly used the buntline hitch and Blake's hitch for tying in.
Literally what the other guy said I knew you were better then that lol I was like what no way he thinks that’s gonna swing all the way over lol
I also think you should keep the name it suits ya and plus you’re the only one with that name so
@gamingisthewaytogful Haha thanks for having good faith in me! You're right, I would never ever depend on a hinge to move a branch that far to the side.

Look forward to your new content as an operator turned tree business owner i wont mind seeing the excavation work.
@zaccheus 💯 if you are on a budget tree work can be the way to go . A hand saw and some basic pruning knowledge and you can start a business.
@facelesspsycho8252 You're absolutely right. I learned the basics of structural pruning from a library book if I recall correctly. Tree work is a fantastic starter/side business for so many reasons
IF THIS VIDEO GETS 1000 LIKES YOU GET TO SEE THE DEMOLITION OF THE HOUSE!!!
Haha, you should be my media manager Evan 😂
that's above my pay grade 😉. but if you need someone with a skid steer and grapple for demo clean up im here@@zaccheus
Ya had me for a while... 😂
So what are the Amish going to think now.!😮😜
Hahaha, probably just think I'm crazy 🤷♂️
Love your smooth, sweet saw action... so.e believe the trigger needs tweaking every half second...
Love your click bait...
What was that about unnecessary risk?
Lol
Oops sorry about the roof
Lol 😂
I'd do similar, if I ever break away from engineering. My boys and I can do tree work as a secondary service. The main will be crane and rigging work. Fun video you have here.
For sure man, there is a lot of money out there for crane work. We have a local crane guy or two that pretty much keep busy just working for tree services 🤷♂️
Gonna come around! Lol good one
Can’t wait for the demo video….👍
It's out! I posted it last weekend
So is your actual name _not_ like the guy in Luke 19? Very interesting, either way.
Haha, believe it or not, I do not share names with the short tax collector Jesus stopped to visit. I did, however, name my tree service after that man back in the day.

Wow man, thays impressive, thanks for your comment!
ohhhh man, ya had me good. I felt so bad I know how hard you work rewatched it five times before you spilled the beans, glad it was fake
I almost never free fall big, heavy branches, and I think it shows on those first two 😅
The biggest thing I was trying to avoid was having them hit tips first and then fall over in whatever direction they want to go.
@@zaccheusThat is a definite possibility with this cut, that's why you should be free of anything to avoid when making it..
U got me with the thumb. Nail
Haha glad to hear it!
Awesome job
Thanks!
Yeah don't worry guys. You can't put down the chainsaw that easy we will keep seeing him cut
Hahahaa, you know it!
Yeah you got me good man lol I love your channel though man! I wish you weren't moving on from the tree industry!
Haha, no worries, I'll still be posting tree video, I just might need to fill in with some excavator videos here and there.
Would you be willing to talk about your saw lanyard a little more?
Aw man, I'm sorry to hear that. It is tought finding good tree guys who are willing to take the time to do things right and safe.
