Yesterday was a break in the winter weather. I sat on the deck in a chair and worked on a cross stitch. It was very nice to get outside, relax, and look at nature. I think we are all pretty Blessed to have you in our lives, Melissa. Take your time. We appreciate you. Marion in Oregon.
Awww, thank you, Marion. I'm very blessed to have all of you wonderful subscribers. Your comments are the highlight of my day. Thank you so much, sweetie! 🥰😘😍
Oh I know, Mimi! I mean, we know what happened in scripture but seeing it played out so well really drives it home. Thanks for watching and God bless! 🥰✝️
You are always so inspiring! I am a person who quilts ans sews, knits, crochets but I do little fiber arts - although I have enjoyed every artsy project I've done. The slow stiching is pulling at me and I think some take on this project will make me take that next step [ thank you very much. I'm looking forward to the rest of the year.
Thanks for watching! I also do crochet, knit, weaving, etc... and when I discovered "slow stitching" I was just overwhelmed with needing to know more about it. The more I watched and learned the more the idea for this block of the month series hit me.
This one took me a long time because my video equipment wasn't working. I'd have to tear out and start over several times. I just finished filming the background block for February's Tulip block and all tolled, it took about 3 hours. It was very enjoyable! I never thought I'd enjoy hand work again but now I just can't stop! Thanks for watching, Vicki!🥰
Zowie! This is beautiful! I found cut outs of fabric pansies and tulips in a folder in a cabinet while cleaning out old textbooks. How is that for a running sentence? Perfect for this project. And I get to use more of my embroidery thread stash. Thank you Melissa! Marion in Oregon.
Oh I love Pansies, Marion! I'm definitely doing a pansy block in this series. And, TULIPS will be our February block. I start filming today. I'm so glad you are going to join me in this series.🥰
January block is beautiful and was well worth waiting on. Please don't stress we will all be waiting until you're ready. ❤
Thanks for watching, Elaine and thanks for your sweet comment! God bless!🥰

Ok so first of all for responding back to me but now I'm wondering what are your plans for these beautiful blocks
There will be 12 blocks so a 3 x 4 layout. It will be a wall quilt or a decorative bed cover that is removed for sleeping.
Your funny
