Dear David it is a pleasure to watch your video tours in Israel! Your explanations and the tone of your voice make the whole experience a real תענוג תודה רבה
Loved your video of Caesarea. It's one of my most favourite spots in all Israel. I think Herod must have definitely foreshadowed the current real estate axiom of 'Location, Location, Location' 😀. I appreciate all the effort you go to in bringing us these videos David. Thank you.
I really enjoy the details you put in such as labeling the bathhouse or in one video you even put the address of your favorite falafel shop. It really heightens the "I need to experience this" feeling
On the sea side of the aquaduct around where the sand covers the structure there is an inscription stating that the aquaduct was built by the 10th Roman legion.
David, our family talks about our trip to Israel and you all the time....years after our tour with you! It was the best trip our family has taken and, I am sure, will never be replicated. Needless to say we will be calling you and planning our next trip! Leslie and I have been discussing it. All the best, Bill
The long room/structure in your video looks very much like one of the boathouses at the Herculaneum in Campania, Italy where the poor victims tried to flee the volcanic eruption. It's a small world .... even back in their day. The mediterranian gave many cultures shared "technology." Herod and his engineers are at the top of the list for innovation, at least in my book. I didn't know that the Pilate stone was found at Caearea 😮 Thank you for the tour!!!
Thanks this video. I visited this place so mach nice beautiful place. Now, I feeling different thime. I want relax whit his blessing Holy Spirit. In the all nations very dangerous or difficult thime. He can change something to his Kingdom. His people are peace. Now, I from South Korea.
When you mention Herod setting up a port for trading, what products were coming in and out? Since our trip to Israel, we’ve also traveled to Sicily and Spain. Can you talk about the trade with those regions in the time of Herod?
Hi and thanks for this great question. Export was mainly local agriculture products such as grain olive oil wine and Garum. The port acted as transit for items from Arabia on their way to Rome: Spice, insects, perfumes. Import was from all over the Mediterranean: Metal and metal objects, fine ceramics, glassware, precious stones, cedar wood, colored garments.

My grandfather's birth place . In Palestine ❤
Why that horrible music. You and the landscape are interesting enough. Music is very distracting 😢
Hi Elissa, you are right. This is one of my very first videos and I learned allot since then. Thanks for your comments.
