Qimir...Sith or fallen dark Jedi on his own?
While editing, I noticed the Kylo Ren theme subtly playing often when Qimir was on screen. I wonder what that means??

qimir is on board with the dark side, in episode 5 he says something along the lines of "i embrace the dark side"
Most likely qimirs master is darth tenebrous or darth plegueis. The planet that qimirs on could be Bal'demnic. The planet that tenebrous and plegueis would mine cortosis from. Keep in mind that plegueis is from the species (muun) which translate to moon in Arabic. Maybe the 2 moons are more than what we think.
A Sith deals in absolutes. Quimir is disarming.
Remember Yoda said, there must always be two, master and apprentice.
I agree about the verbage. He doesn't directly claim to be a sith but sith are proud of what they are and then there's that semantics line as you pointed out
I think Sol, when he hugged Mae, it confirmed that it wasn’t Osha.
I'm still considering that Qimir might be Darth Plagueis in disguise, using Sith alchemy, or possibly Tenebrous, who could have used force transfer to inhabit a new body to keep living. Another possibility is that he could be Darth Venamis, who actually knew how to levitate with the force and was a secret apprentice of Tenebrous. Venamis would likely be aware of the power of force transfer and capable of transferring his consciousness into another body, such as Qimir's.
In the books, Vernestra is known for her vivid visions in hyperspace, where she is transported to different places or communicates with other force users or people from different times, even those who have died. Because of this, I suspect she knows something we don't yet understand, which explains her current behavior. I can't imagine they would turn her into a full on villain there must be a reason for her actions. I think she might have already had a vision about what will befall the order and is trying to stop it but by doing so is actually helping it come true.
Qimir is trying to groom Osha.
I agree with you that next week's episode will be flash back on what really happened on Brendok. It seems clear to me that Qimir was Vernestra's padawan. As soon as I saw that whip light saber and Qimir scars it just made sense. What we do not know was Qimir a full Jedi before he was ousted or left the order. He had to have been very young at the time. So Qimir had to have been trained by a Sith or dark side user to have become as skilled as he is now. Does he still have a master or is he a fallen Sith. He could just be a powerful dark side user. He seems desperate to have a pupil to train. I think that Qimir is playing on Osha's insecurities and seducing her to his will. I think in the last episode we will see Osha become the Acolyte. I don't think that Sol's character will survive. _ MJ
Pretty sure he's not Sith. They're leading heavily into him being involved with the Knights of Ren, perhaps their founder (not sure about that). The helmet is very Knights of Ren. And the showrunner gave an interview this week saying that the inclusion of Kylo Ren's theme in E5 was very intentional. This would also kind of explain him walking the line between Sith/no-name dark side user.

Great analysis. I’m not sure that he’s a Sith, given the way he phrased that line to Sol about how a Jedi like him would call him Sith. That may over reading that line, especially since Qimir is clearly willing to use vague language.

I think you’re on to something with the connection between Vanestra and Qimir. Ok far out theory…. They know each other because she was his master - and maybe she was in the coven or maybe she taught the coven how to make force babies. He also said “it was a long time ago” when Osha asked about his Jedi training. I think I’ve heard that Vanestra is way older than she looks. There’s something there

@@jsnace9 vanestra is def much older then what she looks. Remember when she told sol she remembers him being shy when he was a youngling. Or something like that. Which means she maybe was already an adult when he was a youngling.
Very little about Crapolyte is good Sol and Kamir that's it make a show about them

Padawan Smol's eye rolling would be strong with this one haha. We've been absolutely spoiled with the saber combat in this show, quite a few iffy choices in regards to writing though in my opinion. We'll see how the rest of the series pans out.
Do you remember how much hate Jar Jar and phantom menace got? Oh man it was bad. I’m 44 and I remember tons of fans here in San Francisco that I interacted with threatened to never watch Star Wars again. People wanted Lucas to give Star Wars to someone else. No phantom menace is loved.
I want a good written show about Qimir without Mae and Osha who are really boring. HIs story is much more interesting....❤ Qimir (Darth Biceps/ Sexy Ren) and Daddy Sol are the only reasons for me to watch the show.Was Vernestra the Master of Qimir and his scar is from her lightsaber whip? Another 30 minutes of filler where we tease the other side of the story, but don't give it. They clearly do not have enough story for 8 episodes. These seem like hour long episodes chopped in half to stretch out the series.
Lightsaber duels having consequences! I gave up on that when they brought Darth Maul back! So Riva and Sabine, having plot armor does not bother me in the least! I think most people are just upset about who it is that actually survives a lightsaber seemingly fatal attack! If you like the character no problem with it whatsoever ,if you don't then it's how the hell is that possible? Theorizing now, Qimir used to be the green Jedi ladies Padawan and perhaps she whipped him that's how he got the scar on his back? Because he started to turn to the dark perhaps along with sol because, she did mention how shy he was as a youngling, perhaps Sol and Qimir were dabbling with the dark side of the forest by unleashing those quote negative emotions , and listening to fans of the high Republic novels she's very old so Qimir is definitely older than he looks and he's not a Sith he simply said that's what some Jedi might call him because he's a dark side Force user where as I believe he's going to be one of the founding members of the Knights of red also! I'm guessing the next two episodes are going to be action-packed. I believe next episode we're finally going to get the big Throwdown among the Jedi and the witches! So although this is not the greatest Star Wars it's also not the end of Star Wars, and like you I just like that it's Star Wars content, and unless it's truly horrendous I'm cool with it. And be a kid again and some Far Far Away Galaxy long long ago! So it's still fun and that's the most important thing!
Like a true Star Wars fan, you have decided to not let the political views, sex, sexual orientation, of the Creator or the ethnicity or racial makeup of the cast get in the way of determining whether or not you enjoy this particular Disney Star Wars drama! And like any rational person will not make final judgment on the series until it's actually over and most definitely not before it's ever been released! If you look at the biggest haters on this show and go back to before the show ever premiered they had problems with all the affirmation issues! Even before that they had problems with the hi Republic, and have been nitpicking and bitching and moaning about every single little thing that stands out in their mind like hey how can there be a fire in the vacuum of space? The same way a TIE fighter can make a sound in the vacuum of space, or a beam of light can become solid and stop after a couple feet, or the same way that there's gravity on your spaceship! News flash it's not real! There are young kids that are going to fall in love with Star Wars just like you and I did as young kids because they can for once see themselves reflected on the screen as lead characters! Let's not forget all the hate that Ahsoka took when Dave filoni first introduced her or they hate Hayden Christensen got about his acting in the prequels, not to mention the low ratings of Andor, a show that took me a while to actually become invested in, but one I did enjoy, because I gave it a chance and didn't make my determination until the series was done! So my determination of how good a show is has nothing to do with the people who make it, it's the quality of the acting the storytelling and I'm not going to lie the special effects which have been Stellar in this TV show, that although expensive doesn't have the same budget as a movie! Truth be told when I go back and watch the original trilogies as an adult I can see all kinds of problems that I didn't notice as a child! Not just the quality of the special effect, or it breaking Cannon or not jiving with other Star Wars media! It doesn't make any difference to me that somehow Obi-Wan didn't recognize R2D2, or that Leah didn't tell Luke or Han about her knowing Obi-Wan, because to me the notion of Canon is ridiculous this is science fiction , make believe you're supposed to suspend your disbelief. Not to mention everybody knows these stories were written at different times and are a work in progress. And although I love the action so far ,this is not a video game if you want Star Wars to be a video game simply play the video games!

Never have read the old Republic books, So I don't know her backstory, but I have heard she's over a hundred years old and was the youngest Person to become a Jedi. When he says a long time ago I think he's used the dark side of the force to slow his aging .I also believe he was her Padawan and that is a whip mark on his back He might be the first REN? Osha is clearly going to be the acolyte and With that Sensory deprivation helmet She's going to remember exactly what happened because I've always believed that Master Sol Wiped her memory and implanted false memories the same way the Jedi did to Darth Revan, I also believe she set the fire because the witches At least the one that's the same species as Darth Maul Refuse to let her join And out of anger she set the fire And the Jedi felt that the welfare of the children Would be best Placed in their hands, Because they felt that It was wrong to access the dark side of the force and they tried to take them and that's when the witches possessed The Wookie Jedi and Torbin to fight among themselves, That's most probably how he got the scar and then all hell broke loose!! Did the Jedi sabotage the generator to cause it to blow up? I still have no idea How Mae was saved And how she hooked up with Qimir.
