This is a beautiful heart warming story. I’m glad this fine man can ease his pain through art. I sure it helps that the entire school appreciates his art work.
Hey care 11...haven't been called janitors for years....custodians, boiler engineers..facility managers....kind of like stewardess....you know flight attendants....double standards in MN....glad this guy has found a happy ending...and is doing well...
Believe it or not if it wasn’t for the Custodians they couldn’t have school there amongst the most important people in the building I know because I was a custodian at a school for 10 years and I enjoyed every minute of it
My Dad, too, for four years before taking a promotion to the Maintenance Dept. He loved the interaction with all the kids, including us, his own four ☺. Some kids used to make fun of us because our Dad was a school custodian, but Dad very quickly showed them that there's no shame in any honest work well done. He became Mr. Joe or Mr. B. to every student during his working years (a total of 30 years in the school system before he retired), and many of the boys would go to him when they had some kind of issue and didn't feel their own fathers would help them. I was proud of my father back then, and even though he died 17 years ago, I'm still very proud of the excellent man and father he was.
@@jb6712 Thank you for remembering your father I bet he was a good custodian and maintenance worker my hats off to you and your family you should be proud of your father he probably made every kids day at that school
Remarkable heart for good in this talented man. So pleased the school recognizes it, too.The children will never forget.

He could be a teacher's aide in art classes! A wonderful man who sounds like he could use a wonderful lady. Love is healing.
Do more of these, please! Just love this. Beauty in the world instead of hate. More of this!
Thank you. I'm recovering from a deer motorcycle accident without a helmet almost two years. This gives me hope.
Hope you find some relief and are getting better.
If you were dumb enough to ride a motorcycle without a helmet, then yeah, I guess you will need some recovery...
Lovely story with a beautiful story-telling! Hope many people can watch this.
The kids will always remember him after they graduated. 😮😮😮😮😮
That is a really neat story, thank you for sharing....
What a great story!

Gods work is amazing
Please wake up to reality. Horror happens every minute around earth. Fairy tales are not real.

THIS IS GREAT, HE NEEDS TO GO TO WORK DRAWING
After my girlfriend’s accident left her with brain damage, she became very artistic. Crazy stuff.

Yeah right... And a garbage man is now a sanitation engineer...only if you're woke.
Sounds to me like he's not got enough to do. His boss will likely add to his responsibilities.
haha! What greater responsiblity is there than making a hundred kids smile?
