Thanks for the video. I’ll have to give those Lasfit pods a try. I’ve used 5 of your videos to change out my belts, fiseable link, canister and thermostat. Just wondering what’s the length of the aluminum bars you have up top mounted to the smitty built gutter mounts.
If your winch rope isn't just absolutely frayed and torn up, just cut the first 5 or 10 feet off of it and put a loop on the end or loop a flat link onto the end. I go out with a group of pretty hard core rock crawlers and they made fun of me for changing my winch rope when the end was frayed. Those ropes are very strong and surprisingly resiliant even though they get all discolored and mis-shaped towards the inner coils
I learned about them in 2017. Turns out, they’re one of the biggest Toyota off-road shops in Southern California. They’ve been doing it wayy before the overland seen became a thing.
@@CruisinMiles I was looking on their website and saw a few options for knuckle rebuild kits with varying prices. I definitely need to do mine, do you have any experience with this? I would like a kit that comes with EVERYTHING I need. Any help is appreciated.
@@brimbotungus8507 I ordered my knuckle rebuild kit through CruiserBrothers.com back then. Came with all seals, koyo wheel bearings, and all nuts and washers needed.
@@CruisinMiles good hermano, just working being a dad and learning my humbling lessons of life while enjoying the world. Well at least trying too! What about you? Im jelly of your land cruiser
@@wcuevas9084 i’ve been doing the same man. Learning how to be a dad never stops, and I’ve definitely had to be humbled a lot in the past couple years. Things have definitely changed since when we used to roll out together. Have been working respiratory part-time now for about six months and I’m really trying to make something out of this UA-cam channel.
@@CruisinMiles tell me about it, parenting I feel teaches you more about yourself than what you teach your kids almost if that makes sense. I left the Resp field for a while and came back. I like your editing and engagement. My girl does this and social media full time for fitness so I know it can be a lot. But, you are crushing it!
@@shanevonharten3100 I wouldn’t say I got it VERY wrong. You and I are definitely among the few that actually prefer the older models. Especially since there are obviously fewer of them out there.
I congratulate you with this build. I had a 92 and I had sold it. I enjoy your spare tire carrier videos

Thank you for the support! I’m glad I could help you. The lengths are 53 inches across.
Great video Miles, the truck came a long way. You forgot the K02s you used to have on the stock wheels. I liked those.
The KO2s?! Haha thanks man. Yeah it’s still a work in progress though.

Thanks for the advice! I will definitely take a look at it. Although, I have no idea how long it was sitting out in this condition.
I lived in Corona all my life- im now in Vegas, but I never knew about yotamasters!

Well you got it very wrong about everyone wanting the 93 up. The main reason i got my 80 is lack of electronics thats why i got a 90 model.
