Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige, talks about how the crowd was skeptical when The Avengers film was first announced because of the difficulties of bringing so many actors together. Director, Joe Johnston, explains the tone of the film. Chris Evans reveals his feelings about playing Captain America. Hugo Weaving explains how he envisioned the character and who inspired him to create Red Skull's voice.

poor chris..he knew that some fans were againts his casting as Cap..he looks a bit nervous here..Thank God he did great with Captain America..he owns it!

@@talkingtoawall5123 coz he was the flirty cocky guy in fantastic four. And for comic book fans who had only watched that one movie of him, it seemed like a bad choice for cap(back in 2010, things have changed radically in ten years,lol)
I have no problem at all. Chris Evans was the perfect choice for Johnny Storm. Subsequently, he was perfectly cast as Cap. He is Captain America. He owns both superhero roles. Nobody can do it better. He's amazing as both even tho Johnny & Cap are so different. What a talent!
It's true. He's great at sincere leader roles like Cap and he's great at knucklehead roles like Johnny and Not Another Teen Movie

I've never seen Cap and Red Skull getting along so well before...well, as they say "grudge between two people fades away with time" XD.....so Cap, after being asleep for 70 years, wakes up and meets Red Skull, who has been released from Vormir (and obviously has gotten his human face back)...then they decide to leave all their grief in the past behind and work together in a movie about their past conflict....interesting XD
I love how Hugo is like " Fuck it! I'ma eat my candy throughout the whole thing looking sexy with my sexy mouth " xD!!!!

NGL I was one of the butthurt people who didn't like it when Chris was announced as Cap. I didn't think it right for the same actor to play two different superhero roles, as it ruins the 'illusion.' BUT I was wrong, Chris was destined to play Cap.
Playing Johnny Storm was more of an "experience," more of a bit of work/a project and maybe even something he wouldn't have minded not doing. Something "forgettable." But playing Captain.. that was the role he was meant for all along.
