  • (Not bad, but will be much smoother with more practice - as I often say.) I can't play fast, so you can easily see where some small corrections were made. (Let's call it a "work in progress.") Scott Joplin composed this famous ragtime piece for piano. I made this arrangement by borrowing from two different guitar arrangements: Jim McCoy's free tablature arrangement, and Michael Neverisky's arrangement that has the notes + tablature (for a reasonable price). Do see their UA-cam videos. Many play this piece super fast, but Scott Joplin said "It is never right to play ragtime fast." P.S. I have made some flash cards for learning all the notes on the guitar fretboard that get great reviews on the Amazon and Strings by Mail websites. If interested, please see this short video about the cards, that also lets you see 9 of the 78 cards right away: • Free trial, right now ...

The tone on this is incredible. What guitar is it? I’d love to know

Hi, Tarrant. It's an Alhambra model 10F, a flamenco guitar. I don't play flamenco music, though. The tone might be thanks to the guitar strings - Savarez Alliance Cantiga normal tension. I can see the lower strings vibrating - something I haven't seen with any other strings I have tried, so it might be the good sound thanks to the strings. Best regards, Philip
