Raising up our Voice for Unity... and I listen

Like many people around the world, I feel deeply concerned for the future of life on our planet. Harm can often happen to people and other living beings when we have difficulty understanding each other-understanding what we’re really trying to say. It can be hard to listen openly when we are under stress. We may be hurting inside and everything feels unfamiliar and a bit scary. We may not feel safe.
Sometimes when I’m stressed I can forget that the other person simply needs love, kindness and support, more than anything else. Just like me. When I remember this, I don’t even think of that person as an “other.” It doesn’t occur to me to imagine we are separate, and things can easily flow in the natural exchange of kindness and support.
May all people heal from their Hurt Inside.
May we know that we are all One Family, and therefore familiar to each other.
We can cultivate a friendly feeling.
We can heal each other and our Precious Mother Earth.
