There are numerous better courses available in my beloved country India which are far better than Indian Ca such as CMA , CS ,CIMA ,CIA USA , CPA USA, ACCA ,CFA ,CFE etc I have seen in my global Internal Audit Carrier and in India that majority of Indian Ca are working in small firms or companies and getting salary of 20000 to 25000 per month as the passing rate is high so there is over supply of Ca in market and if they do not get jobs the become education counselors or join coaching institutes as accounts teachers so reality is different from artificial hipe of ca course.
@TAX EXPERT I had more than 15 years experience in Internal Audit , finance and taxation function and worked at senior positions in some of the best companies of the world and traveled on Internal audit assignments worldwide I had seen Indian CMA , CIMA ACCA CPA USA CIA USA CFA working for such companies but not seen any Indian CA working at some respectable positions in Global Large companies even in India there is over supply of CA thus they are not getting jobs and have to work at low salaries.
i think there is some missconception to you about the high passing rate in CA go and check the passing rate of CA it is only last time when we CA students get a high rate in passing

I have recently qualified and I have to tell you this that getting a job is difficult.....in campus placement only 20-30 % are selected ...I gave interview in one of the financial services company for which 40-45 peoples were there for only 10 job position ...now things which the interviewer notices;-
1) no of attempts
2) communication skills
3) "little bit" technical knowledge
Now if communication skill is of so much importance then as per my opinion there should be 1 more subject regarding this.but no we have MCS course to cover this gap ...let me tell you it's just time pass and nothing more...no value addition...total waste.
I studied all the 8 subjects...but while giving interview they were of least importance.
What is the use of degree if you are not able to earn because of unemployment.
