@@Sojack Yeah climbers are a whole different level of strength where they're strong, my cousin is probably 80lb lighter than me, and his forearms are roughly the same size as mine. I have fairly large arms and can curl 135lb barbell for reps, he can hold himself in crazy positions where I have little strength. I can do dips with 135lb for a couple reps and 90lb weighted pull ups, but that definitely does not translate to climbing.

doesnt work like that. its about genetics and pushing past the regular limits but it takes decades. and everyones body is different you cant make a program for this. you need to push your whole body in different ways. it cant be too much repetetive. this entails walking fast everywhere and shit. best if you do whole body reppetetive actions in shitty weather, sand and then resist movement optimization and force ur body to move faster then it wants to push to the limits every day. but again its a balance between sleep and food. its a fucking nightmare. build 10kg of mass in 2 years and live happy its not worth it. its more of an experiment nohing more. its like overclocking CPU yes you get more performance out of the same product but it has life expectency issues and also you wont get a higher tier performance just higher one in ur class. As such, he's jacked but can still move extremely well and athletically. An absolute inspiration. The main strategy? Train for volume and intensity at the same time. Your muscle fibers are complex, and can definitely get stronger by having more of them or stronger by making them more efficient, or make them stronger by increasing recruitment. His regimen does all three.

Strength is just moving more weight to me while athleticism is being able to use your body to do a variety of different things like climb, juke, jump, etc. I don't think you can be strong according to that definition without a decent amount of muscle and body weight (unless you want to say "pound for pound" but that adds a qualifier), but you can be extremely athletic at any body size.

The force your muscles can produce is dependent on the size of the muscle itself, that's why the strongest people in the world who are doing strongman competitions are absolutely massive. Thing is, most people don't need that much strength. For an average person, this is perfectly adequate. Just don't fool yourself into thinking that getting bigger doesn't make you stronger, because it does.

Lucky you, I'm 6'4ft tall and weight 120lbs normally, I can't do anything that you do because either I don't fit, or I will break my neck if a little mistake happens. 😂

He gets it wrong. Olympic power lifting is all volume step loading. No fads little variety at highest level otherwise they don’t make the highest level. Bodybuilding is all about intensity and hitting failure causing pure muscle growth. They only do volume training during their cutting phase

Correct, strength does not equal hypertrophy. However, a certain level of hypertrophy is required for a lot of strength. That level is lower than most think, but its not 98 lbs, that's for sure. Want to prove me wrong? Go to a gym and lift something other than your bodyweight. Do a heavy single on squat or deadlift to show the abundance of strength you say you have.
Your expertise is mobility and fluidity of motion. Those are important, and we need and appreciate info on those, which you provide. However, influencers such as yourself need to be keenly aware of where your expertise begins and ends, and your expertise does *not* extend to strength.

However, I can still do 100 push ups in a set. Someone once said to me, I don't look like someone who can do that, what did he expect? Arnie?
